A Detachment ------------------------------------------------- Location: Ketchikan Case number: 09-91653 Type: Violate DVPO Text: On 10-9-2009 at approximately 1541 hours, AST served Cathy Hubbell, age 54 of Ketchikan, a Domestic Violence Protective Order that stated she could not be at a residence on Collins Road in Ketchikan. Hubbell then left the residence. A short time later AST received a report that Hubbell had returned to the residence. AST responded back to the residence and Hubbell was arrested for violating a DVPO and remanded to the Ketchikan Correctional Center without incident. Investigation found the home was burglarized between 1055 hours and 1155 hours on 10/08/2009. Total loss of property is estimated at $600.00 with an additional $500.00 in damages. Investigation revealed Michael Paul Furbush, age 19 of Palmer, was operating his 1981 Chevrolet Van northbound on the Glenn Highway when he lost control of the vehicle and rolled into the ditch. Further investigation revealed that Furbush was operating the vehicle with a revoked license. Furbush was issued a criminal citation for DWLR and was released at the scene. Furbush was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision and was transported to Mat-Su Regional Hospital with minor injuries. Investigation revealed that suspect(s) caused damage to two doors and then entered Arne's dwelling without permission. Investigation revealed that Coolidge was on current Conditions of Release for a pending Felony DUI case and one of Coolidge's conditions was not to consume alcohol. The VPSO contacted Coolidge at his residence and found Coolidge to be intoxicated and in possession of marijuana. Coolidge was arrested and transported to the Dillingham Correctional facility where he is being held on $2000 bail. Investigation revealed that Kayoukluk and Dull used the $300 for their personal needs and never provided Olsen with $300 or the items that Olsen paid for. The case is being referred to the Dillingham District Attorney's Office for prosecution. Investigation showed that Justin Frazier, 18, of Fairbanks was driving his 2003 Chevy Malibu east bound when he lost control of the car after an animal ran in front of him. Frazier's car rolled into the ditch and came to rest on its wheels. Frazier, who was wearing his seatbelt, was not injured. The car was a total loss. Investigation found that Ashton Snow, 17 of Fairbanks, was unable to stop the 1999 Subaru she was driving when a moose walked into the roadway. Snow was not injured. AST investigation determined the school bus was northbound on the Richardson Highway when it stopped to drop kids off near that location. The school bus had its red lights activated when it was rear ended by a 1992 GMC van driven by Gwendolyn M. Leivdal 29, of Delta Junction. All of the 31 kids aboard were still seated at the time and no injuries were reported. Further investigation determined Leivdal was under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested for DUI. A records check showed Leivdal had two prior convictions for DUI and was also on probation with conditions not to consume or possess alcohol in another matter. Leivdal was transported to the Delta Court for further testing and later transported to FCC were she was remanded for Felony DUI.
