Cleveland was convicted of Sexual Assault in the Second Degree in 2002 and is required to register annually. Cleveland had failed to file his annual registration during the month of August. Troopers contacted Colin M. Taylor, age 22, of Wasilla inside of the residence. Investigation revealed that Taylor kicked in a door at the residence causing $400.00 worth of damage. A 1998 Oldsmobile traveling westbound on Airport collided with a 2008 Toyota Tacoma driven by Angelia Alstrom, 19yoa, of St. Mary's, turning southbound on University Ave. AST investigation revealed Alstrom failed to yield when making a left turn onto University Ave. from Airport. Alstrom's passenger was injured in the collision as well as the driver and passenger of the Oldsmobile. All subjects reported wearing seatbelts. Alaska State Trooper's and EMS arrived on scene. EMS transported the victim to FMH where she was pronounced dead. The victim was a 44 year old Fairbanks woman. Her son (her next of kin) was notified. The state medical examiner was notified and there are no signs of foul play. The seventeen year old was a passenger improperly seat belted in the vehicle. When questioned about her identity she provided AST with a false name. Additional investigation revealed that the 17 yoa had consumed alcohol. She was issued a summons to appear in court for consuming alcohol as a minor and charges of Providing False Information are being forwarded to the DA's office for review. Jay Dirks, 26 y.o.a. of Fairbanks, was stopped by AST while attempting to leave the residence in a red 1989 Ford pick-up. AST investigation revealed that he was intoxicated. Dirks assaulted a 30 y.o.a. male and 21 y.o.a female, in the residence, and destroyed property belonging to them during an argument. Investigation revealed that Judy Johnston (29 YOA of Sutton) was traveling northbound on Church Road in her 1990 Chevy Pickup when a 1998 Dodge pickup driven by Michael Bay Jr. (27 YOA of Wasilla) pulled out onto Church Road from a driveway. Johnston's vehicle struck Bay's vehicle in the roadway. Both vehicles sustained major damages in the collision and were towed from the scene. All occupants suffered minor injuries and declined EMS treatment on scene. All occupants reported wearing seatbelts in the collision. Investigation revealed that the driver, identified as David Anderson (36 YOA of Wasilla) was driving with a suspended license. Further investigation revealed that Anderson didn't have insurance on his vehicle and the license plates attached to the vehicle weren't registered to the vehicle. Anderson was arrested and booked into the Mat Su Pre Trial Facility on the charges of DWLS, No Vehicle Insurance and Misuse of Plates where he was held on a bail of $1,500.00.
