A Detachment ------------------------------------------------- Location: Ketchikan Case number: 09-92076 Type: NVOL Text: On 10/11/2009 at approximately 0145 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a moving violation on Water Street by the Schoenbar Bypass. Investigation revealed the driver; 23 year old Lyssa M. Cox of Ketchikan did not have a valid driver's license. Subsequent investigation revealed Cox did not have insurance on the vehicle. Cox was summonsed to appear in the Ketchikan Court on the charge of NVOL and was additionally cited for failure to provide proof of insurance. AST contacted Michele L. Rider, age 43 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Michele was driving while under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for DUI. Michele was transported to the Matsu Pretrial Facility and remanded on a $500.00 unsecured bail. Upon arrival AST contacted Edward George Olesiuk, age 42 of Wasilla. Olesiuk was found to be operating an ATV while under the influence of alcohol. Olesiuk was arrested and remanded at Mat-Su Pre-Trial where he was held on $500.00 bail for DUI. Investigation revealed that 23 YOA David J. Graf Jr. of Anchorage was driving a maroon 2003 Pontiac sedan with a revoked license. Further investigation revealed Graf to be driving under the influence of alcohol and with open containers inside the vehicle. Graf was issued citations for failure to stop at a stop sign, open container in vehicle, and refusal of PBT. Graf was arrested for Felony DUI and driving with a revoked license. Graf was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded and held on $10,000 bail. Investigation revealed that Lief E. Runstrom, age 25, of Big Lake, assaulted a family member. Runstrom was transported to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility and remanded into their custody. Investigation revealed that Ronald D. Oliver, age 45 of Wasilla, had placed a family member in fear of being assaulted. During the investigation Oliver failed to comply with State Troopers and continued to cause a disturbance. Oliver was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault 4 and additionally charged with Disorderly Conduct. Oliver was transported to Mat-Su Pre-Trial where he was remanded into custody and held on no bail. Investigation revealed Brown was intoxicated and began arguing with the train's conductor after being asked to quiet down. Brown later urinated off the side of the train and refused to get off of the train once it came to a stop at the Talkeetna railroad depot. Brown was charged with one count of Disorderly Conduct and remanded to MatSu Pretrial where he will be held until his breath alcohol content results in a .000. Investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, Michael Osness, age 39, of Anchorage was driving on a revoked license and had an outstanding felony warrant for a parole violation on the original charge of DUI. Investigation revealed that Demantle engaged in a fight with others and shot a high powered assault rifle at a house with individuals inside. When leaving the area, Demantle removed evidence from the scene. Demantle was arrested and transported to Bethel and remanded to YKCC. Further investigation determined that Johnson had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear at arraignment for the original charge of Minor Consuming Alcohol. AST stopped the pickup as it parked at Mission Beach. An unidentified passenger fled from the pickup leaving the driver and a second passenger with the vehicle. The driver, 19 year old Brandon Timpke, of Kodiak, was arrested for DUI, Failure to Maintain Liability Insurance, and Habitual Minor Consuming Alcohol. Timpke was also cited for Minor Operating a Motor Vehicle after Consuming Alcohol, and Failure to Stop for a Stop Sign. Timpke was remanded to the Kodiak City Jail. The passenger, 19 year old Justin Godfrey, of Kenai, was cited for Minor Consuming Alcohol and released. Investigation revealed Lasiter forced the door open, causing damage to the door frame. Damage was estimated at approximately $40.00. Lasiter was arrested for Violating a DVPO and DV Criminal Mischief V and booked at Homer Jail without bail. AST contacted the suspect vehicle near mile 114 of the Seward Highway. While investigating the incident, AST contacted Adam Martushoff, 28 years old of Homer. Subsequent investigation revealed that Martushoff had been driving a vehicle while his license was revoked. Martushoff was issued a summons for DWLR.
