Investigation revealed Tamra K. Stone, age 31 of Wasilla, violated the DVPO when she went to the residence after being served the DVPO prohibiting her return to the residence. Stone was arrested at the scene without incident and remanded to MSPT where she was held without bail. Investigation revealed that 39, yoa, Tony D. Edward, of Anchorage was driving a 2001 Chevy Silverado South bound when he crossed the center line and collided with a 1989 Ford Ranger being operated by 25 yoa, Aaron Smith, of Wasilla. Both vehicles sustained approximately $8,000 worth of damage. Both drivers reported wearing their seatbelts at the time of the incident and no injuries were sustained. Investigation found that Patrick A. Holsclaw, age 33 of Wasilla, was driving west on Beverly Lakes Rd. in a 2002 Chevrolet pickup. Thomas A. Starr, age 58 of Wasilla, was traveling behind the Chevrolet pickup in a 1990 Honda CRX. The Honda CRX driven by Starr collided with the rear end of the Chevrolet pickup driven by Holsclaw when an animal entered the roadway. Both drivers reported wearing their seatbelts and no injuries occurred. Damage to both vehicles is estimated at $500.00. Investigation revealed that at approximately 0200 hours, FOXGLOVE arrived at his residence and a verbal argument ensued, which resulted in FOXGLOVE punching the victim several times on the face causing visible physical injuries. Additionally, FOXGLOVE destroyed a cellular phone during the incident and removed another phone from the victim, while the victim contacted the Village Police Officer. WILLIAMS fled the residence to seek assistance from the responding Village Police Officer. FOXGLOVE was arrested for Assault IV (DV), Interfere w/ Report of Crime Involving Domestic Violence, and Criminal Mischief IV (DV). Investigation revealed Steven Morrison, 31 of Fairbanks, was traveling west on Airport Way when he failed to stop at a red-light. Morrison struck, George Wise, 72 of Fairbanks, who was turning onto Airport Way from Old Airport Way. Wise sustained minor injuries and both vehicles sustained major damages. After being impacted, Wise' vehicle spun around and struck Joseph Perrott, who was stopped on Airport Way facing east. Perrott's vehicle sustained minor damages. AST investigation is continuing. Text: On 10-21-09, Richard D. Paul, 28 YOA, currently of Bethel AK, appeared in Dillingham District Court for his arraignment on several charges stemming from an illegal moose hunt. He pleaded no contest to one charge of taking a moose during a closed season and one count of possession and transportation of unlawfully taken big game. He was fined $10,000 with $5000 suspended for taking the moose closed season, sentenced to 7 days in jail with 7 days suspended, ordered to pay $500 restitution to the State of AK for the illegally taken moose, his hunting privileges in AK were revoked for a period of 3 years, and was placed on probation for a period of 3 years under conditions of committing no other fish and game offenses. He was fined $500 for possession and transportation of unlawfully taken big game. The rifle was forfeited and the other half of restitution was paid by a co-defendant in the case. The search warrants led investigators to the discovery of four marijuana grows. The search also led to the discovery of a fifth grow that was unrelated to the four other grows. In all, investigators located 384 marijuana plants in various stages of growth. A large variety of grow-related equipment was seized, to include three large diesel generators. Trapper Creek Residents Duane McCormick, age 39, Gary McCormick, age 38, and James Butts, age 51, are charged with MICS IV. Investigation continues. Incident to the contact, 3-750ML bottles of alcohol were found on the persons and checked baggage of Heckman and Myers. The alcohol was seized and they were allowed to continue on to Pilot Station. A case report will be forwarded to the District Attorney's Office in Bethel charging them both with importation. Pilot Station is a local option community having voted to ban the sale and importation of alcohol.
