Investigation revealed that Brenden C. Strom, age 24 of Wasilla, was operating the motor vehicle while his license was suspended. Brenden Strom was issued a criminal citation to appear in court for Driving While License Suspended. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver. The Buckland VPSO responded and investigation revealed Fredrick David Armstrong, 29, of Buckland, assaulted his pregnant girlfriend. The victim sought medical care for injuries received during the assault. Armstrong was arrested and subsequently transported to and remanded at the Kotzebue Regional Jail. Alcohol was a factor during the incident. Investigation revealed that Jesse Stutzke, age 18 of Anchorage, was visiting the victim's family in Newhalen and while there was having a sexual relationship with the 14 year old female victim. Jesse Stutzke was arrested and remanded to the Bristol Bay Borough Detention Facility for 6 counts of Sexual Assault of a Minor in the 2nd Degree. Bail to be addressed at arraignment. Rezanof Drive prior to the Sargent Creek Bridge. Investigation by Alaska State Troopers revealed that a gray 1995 Chevrolet pickup, drove off of the roadway, skipped across a small pond, and came to rest in a marshy area adjacent to the roadway. AST located a bonfire party east of Sunwood Street. Three juveniles were taken into protective custody, issued a summons for consuming alcohol as a minor then released to their guardians. A fourth individual, Nicholas Smith 18 YOA of North Pole, was issued a summons for consuming alcohol as a minor and was released. Investigation revealed that Michael Dampeer, age 50 of California, lost control of his 1994 Toyota 4-Runner and overturned several times on the highway. The vehicle then became engulfed in fire. Dampeer was properly restrained, but sustained injuries during the crash. Dampeer was transported to the Tok Medical Clinic and later transported to a medical hospital in Fairbanks. The vehicle was totally destroyed. The driver was identified as Jonathan R. Stanton, 24, YOA of North Pole AK. Investigation revealed Stanton was operating with a suspended AK OL. Stanton was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended OL. Stanton was transported to FCC where he was remanded. Stanton's vehicle was released to a responsible party. Investigation revealed a passenger identified as Samuel De Jesus Tinoco 20, YOA of Kodiak, AK had been consuming alcohol. Tinoco has no other incidents involving MCA.
