Ron Rice
A retired Captain from the Anchorage Police Department, Ron is currently
assigned as Manager, Corporate Security, ConocoPhillips Alaska Inc.
He has conducted training involving investigation of violent crimes,
interviewing and constitutional law. He currently instructs Search and
Seizure classes for the Department of Public Safety, Anchorage Police
Department, and other municipal, state and federal law enforcement
agencies. He developed a Workplace Violence Awareness program, which he has
presented throughout Alaska and the lower 48 states.
In addition, Ron publishes Alaska Legal Bulletins pertaining to US Supreme
Court and Alaska Court of Appeals Opinions currently used by all police
agencies in Alaska. There have been over 290 bulletins published since
1977.
Ron is also a Traveling Trainer for the Alaska Police Standards Council. His
classes include Constitutional Law, Search and Seizure, Interview &
Interrogation, Miranda and Workplace Violence.
