    Dispatch Text:

    On 1/5/2019, at about 0207 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report that 33 year old Kenny Lake Resident, Wyatt Lafromboise was intoxicated and in violation of a court order.  Wyatt was subsequently arrested at his residence in Kenny Lake for three counts of Violation of Conditions of Release and transported the Glennallen AST Post where he is being held pending arraignments.

    Location: False Pass
    Type: Assault 4th DV

    Dispatch Text:

    On 1-1-2019, at approximately 0400, the False Pass VPSO arrested Jeffrey Johnson, age 44 of False Pass.  An investigation disclosed Johnson had assaulted a family member.  Johnson was held in the Flase pass jail with no bail pending arraignment.  Alcohol is a factor in this incident.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 1-1-2019, at approximately 0005 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault.  An investigation disclosed John Etuckmerla, age 29, of Manokotak assaulted a family member. On 1-4-2019, Etuckmerla was arrested for the assault and also arrested for an outstanding warrant issued through the Dillingham court.  The original charge was assault 4th DV.  Alcohol is a factor in this incident.

    Location: Pilot Point
    Type: DV Assault 2, Assault 3, Escape 4

    Dispatch Text:

    On 1/4/19 at about 0300 hours, the VPSO in Pilot Point received a report of a domestic violence assault at a residence in Pilot Point.  The VPSO responded and contacted the suspect.  Investigation revealed Shawn Kalmakoff Sr., age 33 of Pilot Point, assaulted an adult female by strangling her and striking her multiple times causing injury.  While the VPSO was escorting Kalmakoff out of the residence, Kalmakoff pulled away from the VPSO and fled on foot, escaping.  A State Trooper from Dillingham responded to Pilot Point later in the day and assisted the VPSO in apprehending Kalmakoff. On 1/4/19, Kalmakoff was arrested and booked at Dillingham Jail on charges of DV Assault 2, Assault 3, and Escape 4, with no bail pending arraignment.

    On 1-2-2019, at approximately 1730hours, Dillingham based Alaska State Troopers received a report that Cavelila Hanson was fighting with people in a residence in New Stuyahok.  After an investigation by AST and the New Stuyahok VPO, Hanson was arrested for violation his conditions of release  by consuming alcohol, Assault 4th on LEO, Disorderly Conduct and a warrant issued by the Dillingham court for failure to appear.  Alcohol is a factor in this incident.

    Type: DV Assault in the 4th Degree

    Dispatch Text:

    On December 21st, 2018 at approximately 2325 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report about a domestic disturbance in the village of Manokotak. Subsequent investigation resulted in an arrest warrant being granted on December 24th, 2018 for one count of DV Assault in the 4th Degree against John Etuckmelra, age 29 of Manokotak. On January 4th, 2019 AST responded to the village of Manokotak and made contact with John. John was placed under arrest for his outstanding warrant and was transported to the Dillingham Jail to be held until arraignments.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 1-3-2019, at approximately 0100, Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault at a residence in Togiak. An investigation led to the arrest of Jason Doiel, age 27, for assaulting a family member and destroying property of a family member.  Doiel was held at the Togiak jail until arraignment.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 1/4/19 at about 0007 hours, Emmonak AST and the local VPO responded to a disturbance in Emmonak. An investigation revealed that Kelse Leopold (age 20) had assaulted a family member by hitting them in the face. Leopold was arrested for Assault in the Fourth Degree and lodged at the Emmonak Police Dept. pending arraignment.

    On 1/4/19 at about 2107 hours, the Emmonak VPSO responded to a report of a family stuck on the Yukon River. An investigation revealed that Randy Hootch (age 49) of Emmonak had operated a 4-wheeler while intoxicated. Hootch was arrested for DUI and lodged at the Emmonak Police Dept. pending arraignment.

    On or about 01/05/2019 at 0003 hours, AST responded to a vehicle in the ditch off Farmers Loop Road near Ski Boot Hill Road. Investigation lead to the arrest of Christopher Cadena, age 33 of Fairbanks.He was transported to FCC were he was remanded on one count of Driving Under the Influence. His bail was set to OR.

    On 1/04/2019 at approximately 1431 hours, Soldotna based Alaska State Troopers responded to a hit and run motor vehicle collision at mile post 15 on Kalfornsky Beach Road. The vehicle that fled the scene was not identified. The other party, Patricia Coghill, 47, of Kenai, vehicle was able to be driven from the scene. Law enforcement is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the other vehicle- a late 80’s model white full size pickup truck with a camper, or, a full sized late 80’s SUV.     On 1/04/2019 at approximately 1710 hours, Soldotna based Alaska State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of South Miller Lane and Birch Lane. Investigation revealed it was a two-vehicle accident with no injuries. Parties involved include; Shamara Fournier, 47, of Kenai, and Russell Pate, 35, of Nikiski. Russell Pate was issued a citation for Drivers to Exercise Due Care to Avoid Collision.

    On 01/05/2019 at approximately 0046 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of Irons Avenue upon the report of a disturbance. 25 year old Masonn Byrd of Kenai was contacted during the investigation and determined to have been driving under the influence of alcohol. Subsequent to the investigation, Byrd was arrested, transported, and remanded to Wildwood Pretrial on the charges of Driving Under the Influence and a Petition to Revoke Probation.

    On 1/4/19, Alaska Wildlife Troopers Juneau Post, issued Jonathan Dale, age 38, of Juneau, a citation for failing to record a retained personal use king crab immediately on his 11A personal use permit form.  Dale was given a $210 fine out of the Juneau District Court for the offense.
