AK18073900Location: KetchikanType: Warrant Arrest
On 10/11/2018 at about 1625 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a disturbance at a residence near mile 11 of the North Tongass Highway. AST contacted and arrested Shyanne Cooper, age 23 of Ketchikan at the residence after investigation revealed she had an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear from the original charge of Theft in the 4th Degree. Cooper was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center with bail set at $50.00.

AK18072760Location: Big LakeType: Search Warrant / Arrest Warrant Service
On 10/12/18, at approximately 1300 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to serve a search warrant, located at a residence on Halston Avenue in Big Lake. The search warrant was the culmination of an investigation conducted by Mat-Su AST Patrol, Mat-Su SDEU, SCIU and CSU into the location of Shayne Anselm, age 23 of Willow. Investigation revealed Anselm had two outstanding felony arrest warrants. One of the warrants was for Failure to Remand on an original charge of Failure to Stop at the Direction of a Police Officer and Vehicle Theft 1, with 4 years to serve. The other was a Probation Violation with bail set at $5,000. Anselm was additionally on probation for Robbery II, and Burglary I. South Central SERT was activated and conducted the service of the search warrant on the residence. They were additionally assisted by the AST Statewide K9 Unit, who were in the Mat-Su area for training. They consisted of AST K9 teams from Fairbanks, Soldotna and the Mat-Su. After several hours, SERT located Anselm hiding in the residence. He was taken into custody without further incident. Anselm was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and remanded into their custody.

AK18073949Location: WasillaType: Warrant Arrest
On 10/11/18 at approximately 1941 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on E Agate Rd in Wasilla to contact Oly Lobdell, age 19 of Wasilla. Lobdell was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for possessing child pornography. He was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT where his bail was set at $20,000 cash.

AK18073982Location: PalmerType: Burglary 1, Criminal Mischief & Criminal Trespass
On 10-12-18, at approximately 0320 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on N. Winding Brook Loop in Palmer for a disturbance. Investigation revealed Ryan Palmer, age 25, of Wasilla, caused damage to the residence and a vehicle outside. Alcohol was involved in the incident. Investigation continues.

AK18073929Location: Big LakeType: Warrant Arrest
On 10/11/2018 at approximately 1813 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation near Arctic Orchid Lane in Big Lake. Investigation revealed the driver who was identified as Johnny Hanifen, age 41 of Big Lake, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for failure to appear. Hanifen was transported and remanded to MSPT and held on $900 cash bail.

AK18073875Location: WasillaType: Assault/Criminal Mischief
On 10/11/2018 at approximately 1440 hours, Alaska State Troopers received the report of a domestic dispute resulting in damaged property located on S. Vine Road near W. Parks Highway in Wasilla. Investigation determined Jason Rowe, age 34 of Wasilla, damaged vehicle parts of a 2004 Volkswagen Touareg and subsequently placed a family member in fear of imminent physical injury by his violent conduct. Jason was arrested on the charges of Assault 4th degree and Criminal Mischief 4th degree and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial facility where he was held pending arraignment.

AK18074010Location: WasillaType: Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Trespass 1, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree
On 10/12/2018 at approximately 0828 hours the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a burglary in the area of Buttercup Rd. in Wasilla. Investigation revealed individuals had entered one of the victim’s outbuildings and were attempting to take items from inside. While attempting to acquire the items, the suspects caused approximately $8000.00 in damage. The individuals left the area before AST arrival.

AK18073931Location: Kodiak, AKType: Warrant, MICS 2, MICS 3
On 10/11/18 at approximately 1900 hours, Kodiak AST and AWT contacted 30 year old Kodiak resident, Jacob Macomber at the Mill Bay Beach parking lot. Macomber had an active arrest warrant for assault 4DV. Macomber was placed under arrest and subsequent investigation revealed him to be in possession of a small amount of heroin. Further investigation showed Macomber to be in possession of more heroin and MDMA (Ecstasy) within the interior of his vehicle. Macomber was transported to Kodiak jail and remanded on the warrant, MICS 2 and MICS 3.

AK18072635Location: King SalmonType: Warrant Arrest
On 10-12-18 at 1249 hours, Alaska State Troopers arrested Jerome Robert Phillips age 20 of Perryville. Phillips was arrested in King Salmon on an outstanding arrest warrant issued for Assault -IV (x2) and Theft III Involving Domestic Violence. Phillips was remanded to the King Salmon jail with no bail pending arraignment.

AK18060975Location: SewardType: Commercial Fishing Violation
On 8-4-18 AWT began an investigation of a commercial fishing violation in Seward. Investigation resulted in mandatory court appearance citations being issued to Anatoly Reutov, age 39 of Sterling; and Irmil Reutov, age 40 of Homer for violations of Individual Fish Quota reporting requirements under 5AAC39.130 which carries a maximum fine of $3,000. Both defendants were given court dates of 10-30-18.
