    Dispatch Text:

    On 10/5/17 at approximately 1759 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a REDDI vehicle at the Three Bears on Knik Goose Bay Rd in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Lance Fredericks, age 30, of Wasilla was driving under the influence of drugs. He was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT where his bail was set at OR.

    Type: DUI Alcohol, Refusal

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10/6/17 at approximately 0020 hours, Alaska State Troopers stopped a green Ford F-150 on N Creekwood Park Cir for a moving violation.  Investigation revealed the driver, Elijah Sandvik age 39 of Palmer, was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol.  Sandvik was arrested and later refused to provide a sample of his breath for chemical testing.  Sandvik was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded into custody with bail set at $1,000.

    On 10/05/2017 at approximately 1253 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a single vehicle rollover at approximately mile 97.5 of the Parks Highway in Talkeetna.  An investigation revealed Justin Shane Wood, age 37 of Eagle River was driving a 2015 white Ram 1500 southbound on the Parks Highway when he left the roadway causing the vehicle to overturn.  No injuries were reported from the collision.

    Type: Warrant Arrest x 4

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10/06/17 at 0445 hours, AST performed a traffic stop on a white Lincoln sedan for erratic driving near mile 50 of the Parks Highway in Wasilla. Investigation revealed the driver, Ashley Hilton age 32 of Wasilla, had 4 Felony warrants for her arrest for probation violation for the original charges of Theft in the 2nd Degree and Misconduct Involving Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree. Hilton was arrested for her outstanding warrants and transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer where she was remanded into custody and held on $3,000 bail with a court approved third party condition.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10/4/2017 at approximately 2220 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in St. Mary’s received a report of an assault in the community of Mountain Village. It was reported to AST that Alexie Walters, 34 of Mountain Village, had assaulted multiple people in the community and that he had barricaded himself inside his home with his girlfriend, identified as Gertrude Queenie, 22 of Mountain Village, whom Walters was reportedly continuing to assault. Two Village Police Officers responded to the residence to check on the status of Queenie but fled when Walters came to the door with a shotgun and fired a shot. Troopers from St. Mary’s arrived in the community on 10/5/2017 at approximately 0030 hours and attempted to make contact with Walters but were unsuccessful. At approximately 0210 hours, Walters ran out of the house and fled the scene. A Village Police Officer went into the home to check on Queenie. Queenie was located inside the residence deceased. At approximately 1430 hours, Walters turned himself into Troopers at the Mountain Village Public Safety Building in the community. Walters was arrested and charged with Murder in the second degree, Assault in the third degree x 2, Tampering with Evidence and Assault in the fourth degree. Queenie’s body will be sent to the SME’s office in Anchorage for autopsy. Crime scene technicians from Anchorage are responding to the community on 10/6/2017 to assist with scene investigation. Investigation is ongoing.

    Type: Criminal Trespass II and False Information

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10-6-17 at approximately 1146 hours Alaska State Troopers stopped a 1999, green, Ford F250 for an equipment violation as the vehicle pulled into the Tok Mini Mart parking lot.  The driver was identified as Mitchell W. Williams (34 yoa from Tok).  Subsequent investigation revealed that Williams is trespassed from the Tok Mini Mart property.  The vehicle was also occupied by Alexander J. White (32 yoa from Juneau).  White initially provided AST with a false name.  Williams was issued a criminal citation to appear in court for Criminal Trespass II.  White was issued a criminal citation to appear in court for Providing False Information.  Both men were released at the scene.

    Dispatch Text:

    On October 6, 2017 at approximately 12:53 a.m. Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks received a report of a disturbance near Old Airport Way. Troopers contacted Rachael Penn, age 20, and Ralph Luke-Holmberg age 30. Further investigation revealed that Penn had a warrant for her arrest for Failure to Appear from an original charge of Repeat minor consuming/possessing alcohol. Luke-Holmberg also had a warrant for his arrest for Failure to Appear from an original charge of MIW IV Unlawful Possession or Transportation of Game. Both were arrested and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center where they were held on bail.

    Location: Anchor Point
    Type: Burglary, Theft

    Dispatch Text:

    On 9/21/17 at about 1345 hours, Troopers responded to a report of a burglary at a residence on Alta Loop in Anchor Point.  An investigation showed the residence had been broken into sometime during the night and numerous guns, cash, and other items had been taken.  Suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing. 

    Levin Boone, 32 of Anchor Point, and Amelia Inman, 22 of Anchor Point, were identified as suspects in the burglary.  Continued investigation into the incident led to Troopers recovering items stolen from the residence in Boone and Inman’s possession.  On 10/3/17 at about 2330 hours, Troopers contacted Boone and Inman at a camp on Whiskey Gulch Beach and took them into custody on multiple charges. 

    Boone was arrested and charged with multiple counts of misconduct involving a weapon in the 3rd degree and multiple counts of theft in the 2nd degree. 

    Inman was arrested and charged with multiple counts of misconduct involving a weapon in the 3rd degree and multiple counts of theft in the 2nd degree.  Inman was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for her arrest on an original charge of theft 4th. 

    Further charges are being anticipated for both Inman and Boone.

    Dispatch Text:

    On Friday, October 6, 2017 at approximately 0315 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted Dustin Leggett, age 33 of Sterling, on Evergreen Street near mile 86 of the Sterling Highway.  Ensuing investigation into the contact with Leggett found that he had an active felony arrest warrant for failing to comply with his conditions of probation.  Leggett was arrested on the warrant and transported to Wildwood Pretrial Facility, where he was remanded on $20,000 bail.

    Location: Anchor Point
    Type: Theft

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10/3/17 Troopers received a report of a stolen 5th wheel trailer from a location near mile 2.5 of North Fork Road in Anchor Point.  An investigation showed that sometime during the morning hours of 10/3/17 the trailer was removed by an older blue and white pickup.  The trailer is a Wildwood model with the Alaska license 3642RN.  There is possibly spray paint on one side of the trailer from a previous incident.  If anyone has information on this incident please contact the Alaska State Troopers at 907-262-4453.
