    Type: DUI

    Dispatch Text:

    On October 6, 2017 at about 8:00PM, Prince of Wales based troopers responded to Hollis for a report of gunshots and hollering.  Troopers contacted 30 year old Hollis resident Michael Bozeman.  Bozeman was subsequently arrested for Driving Under the Influence.  Bozeman was transported to Craig Police Department where he was remanded.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 09/12/17, at approximately 2142 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Mile 145 Glenn Hwy for the report of a single vehicle collision.  Investigation revealed a white 2017 Nissan Rogue occupied by a 32yoa male from Ontario and a 28yoa female from Louisiana  was traveling westbound on the Glenn Hwy when it struck a cow moose and two calf moose in the westbound lane of travel.  The vehicle came to rest in the westbound ditch.  Both occupants were transported by EMS to Mat-Su Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  The use of seatbelts was reported and alcohol was not a factor.

    Type: Burglary 1st; Theft 2nd; Criminal Mischief 3rd

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10/06/17 at 1750 hours, AST responded to a residence on Long Lake Road in Willow for the report of a burglary, theft, and criminal mischief. Investigation revealed sometime within the past week, a residence had been broken into with an installed Toyo Stove stolen from inside the dwelling. The suspect(s) failed to plug the heating oil line after they stole the Toyo Stove resulting in over 200 gallons of heating oil flooding the dwelling causing at least $5,000 damage to the property. AST is requesting anyone with information about the incident or suspicious activity in the area to contact Trooper dispatch at 352-5401 or Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.

    Type: Natural Death Investigation

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10/06/17 at 2150 hours, AST responded to a residence in Meadow Lakes for an unexpected death. Investigation revealed Mark Torkelson, age 62 of Wasilla, died of natural causes. Next of kin was on scene and the State Medical Examiner responded. Once the investigation was completed, Legacy Funeral Home of Wasilla responded to provide final services for Torkelson.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10/07/17 at 0445 hours, AST responded to the intersection of Helen Lane and Williwaw Way in the Williwaw subdivision for a theft and criminal mischief report. Investigation revealed at approximately 0200 hours, GCI's utility box had 4 batteries stolen from it and the box sustained over $1,000 damage as a result of the theft. AST is requesting anyone with information about the incident or suspicious activity in the area to contact Trooper dispatch at 352-5401 or Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.

    Type: Motor Vehicle Collision

    On 10/06/2017 at approximately 2033 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision with a moose at mile 116.5 of the Parks Highway in Trapper Creek.  Cody Meek, age 27, of Fairbanks, was driving his 2016 Jeep Patriot northbound on the Parks when he collided with the moose.  No injuries were reported.  A local charity salvaged the animal.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10-8-2017, at approximately 1110 hours, Dillingham based Alaska State Troopers contacted Deanna Etuckmelra, age 30 of Manokotak on an assault investigation.  An investigation disclosed Etuckmelra had an outstanding AST arrest warrant issued out of the Dillingham Court. The original charge is Hindering Prosecution 1st degree.  Etuckmelra was arrested and transported to the Dillingham Correctional Center.  Bail is set at $250.

    Type: Assault 4th DV

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10-8-2017 at approximately 0105 hours, Dillingham Based Alaska State Troopers received a report of a assault that occurred in the village of Manokotak.  An investigation disclosed Deanna Etuckmelra, age 30 physically assaulted a family member.  Etuckmelra was later arrested and remanded to the Dillingham Correctional Center with no bail pending arraignment.  Alcohol is a factor in this incident.

    Dispatch Text:

    On October 7th, 2017 at approximately 0038 hours, the Alaska State Troopers (AST) received a call about a domestic disturbance between brothers in the village of New Stuyahok. Subsequent investigation resulted in AST responding to New Stuyahok and placed Devin Andrew, age 20 of New Stuyahok, under arrest for one count of Domestic Violence Assault in the 3rd Degree.

    Location: Mentasta Village, Alaska
    Type: Criminal Mischief 4DV x2, DUI, MIW4, DWLR, Open Container

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10-06-17 at approximately 2130 hours, Tok AST responded to the village of Mentasta for a reported disturbance at an apartment complex. After arrival, AST contacted 32 year old Mentasta resident Abraham Albert. Subsequent investigation revealed he damaged property, was Driving Under the Influence of alcohol and possessed a firearm within the interior of a vehicle while being impaired. Abraham was arrested. Further investigation showed Abraham to have a revoked license and multiple open alcohol containers in the vehicle. AST then contacted 36 year old Mentasta resident Keith Albert. Subsequent investigation revealed he was part of the initial disturbance and damaged a family members phone. Keith was placed under arrest for criminal mischief 4 DV. Both were transported to Tok AST and held until arraignments the next day. Abraham was issued two citations for driving on a revoked license and having open containers of alcohol.

    On October 07, 2017 at approximately 0717 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks received a report of a disturbance on Blessing Avenue. AST responded to the area. Investigation led to the arrests of James Carpentino, age 39 of Fairbanks, and Sarah Stotts, age 39 of Fairbanks; each for misconduct involving a weapon in the third degree.

    On 10-06-17 at 0139 hours, AST responded to the Alaska Christian College for a report of a female that had been consuming alcohol underage and was acting belligerent. Upon arrival AST contacted a male in the parking lot identified as Tristan D. Bell, 21 YOA of Chevak. Investigation revealed Bell had provided alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. During the contact Bell was intoxicated and being disorderly. Bell was arrested, processed and transported to Wildwood Pretrial in Kenai where he was remanded for Furnishing Alcoholic Beverages to persons under 21 YOA and Disorderly Conduct. The underage female involved in the incident was transported to CPH for evaluation due to her alcohol consumption.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 10-05-17 at 2200 hours, AST contacted a male at the Kasilof Riverview Tesoro gas station in Kasilof identified as Clayton R. Nelson, 23 YOA of Kasilof. During the contact a check in APSIN/NCIC revealed Nelson had several outstanding warrants for his arrest totaling the amount of $136,000. Nelson's warrants were for failing to appear to court on numerous charges including felony eluding. Nelson was arrested for the warrants and was transported to Wildwood Pretrial where he was remanded.

    Type: Fraudulent Use of an Access Device, Criminal Impersonation II, Theft II, Theft III, Obtaining an Access Device by Fraudulent Means, VCOR

    Dispatch Text:

    On October 5th, 2017 at approximately 1332 hours, the Alaska State Troopers were dispatched to a report of a bank fraud in Soldotna. Investigation revealed Ronald L. Kier Jr., age 36 of Soldotna, used an access device to withdraw under $1000.00 from a bank account of another person without their consent or knowledge. Further investigation revealed Kier was on conditions of release from an unrelated case and was violating those conditions. Kier was arrested for Fraudulent Use of an Access Device, Criminal Impersonation II, Theft II, Theft III, Obtaining an Access Device by Fraudulent Means, and VCOR. Kier was transported to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility where he was held without bail.

    On October 6, 2017 at approximately 1210 hours, the Alaska State Troopers (AST) responded to a residence in Ninilchik after receiving a warrant tip. AST contacted Richard Knagin, age 27, from Kodiak. Richard had a felony $5,000 warrant for failure to comply with his conditions of probation. Richard was arrested and remanded at the Homer jail.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 09/07/2017 at approximately 1750 hours, Alaska State Troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol contacted Kimberly A. Eide-Segura, age 20 of Kenai  during a traffic stop for a moving violation. Investigation revealed that Eide-Segura had an outstanding warrant for her arrest on the charges of Theft 2nd, Theft 4th, Unlawful Use of an Access Device, Criminal Trespass 1st. Eide-Segura was arrested at the scene without incident and remanded to the Anchorage Jail where she was held on $2,500 C/C bail.
