AK18085334Location: KetchikanType: Burglary I, Theft II
On 11-30-18 at approximately 0611 hours, the Alaska State Troopers were notified of a Burglary. Investigation revealed that unknown persons(s) entered an occupied residence in the Forest Park Drive area via an unlocked window sometime during the night. Miscellaneous cash, jewelry and paperwork were taken with an estimated value of $1500.00. A vehicle was also rummaged through. AK18085354Location: KetchikanType: Theft III
On 11-30-18 at approximately 0913 hours, the Alaska State Troopers were notified of a theft. Investigation revealed that within the past 6 days, unknown person(s) removed approximately 150 gallons of fuel from an external storage tank at a business near mile 6 of the North Tongass Highway. AK18085468Location: KetchikanType: Warrant Arrest
On 11-30-18 at approximately 1650 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted Jolene Kantrud near Casey Harbor in Ketchikan. A check in APSIN showed Kantrud had a $15,000 warrant for her arrest. Kantrud was arrested and remanded to the Ketchikan Correctional Center without incident.

AK18085316Location: WasillaType: Assault / Warrant Arrest
On 11/30/18 at approximately 0008 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on King Fisher Dr. in Wasilla for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Shayne Street age 51, of Wasilla assaulted someone in the residence and caused property damage. Further investigation revealed Street had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest. Street fled the residence on foot into the woods and was apprehended by AST. He was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT where his bail was set at no bail.

AK18085310Location: Big LakeType: Resisting Arrest & Disorderly Conduct
Dispatch Text:On 11/29/2018 at approximately 2309 hours, AST responded to a residence on W Sunrise Drive in Big Lake for a report of a disturbance. AST contacted John David Sia, 21 of Wasilla, who was causing a disturbance while intoxicated. Sia was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. Sia was transported to Matsu Pretrial in Palmer.

Dispatch Text:On 11/30/2018, at approximately 1350 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of an attempted burglary in vicinity of Waldo Fox Drive in Big Lake. Investigation revealed that sometime in the last day suspect(s) attempted to enter the residence and stole items on the property. Dispatch Text:On 11/28/18 at 0935 hours Emil Sam, age 64 of Huslia was arrested in Huslia without incident on a $500 misdemeanor arrest warrant for failure to appear for calendar call on original charge of Harassment 2. He was arraigned and released on conditions of release.

AK18085476Location: Parks HighwayType: MVC-D
On 11/30/2018 at approximately 1710 hours, AST received a report of a single vehicle collision near mile 277 of the Parks Highway. Investigation revealed that a Toyota Matrix driven by Anna Krause, 39yoa of Fairbanks, struck the guardrail and overturned into the ditch. No injuries were reported. The vehicle received disabling damage and the guardrail will need repair. Anna Krause was issued a citation for Basic Speed; Reasonable and Prudent for Road Conditions.
AST reminds our travelling public to exercise caution when driving in adverse conditions.

Advisory Text:Due to the earthquake and aftershocks this morning, residents are urged to stay home if you are home and off roads. There are initial, unconfirmed reports of damage to some roads, highways, and other infrastructure, including rock slides on the Seward Highway. Officials are assessing the damage and working to respond to calls and emergencies.

AK Wildlife Troopers

On 11/30/2018 at 1330 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers received a report of a theft on N Theodore Drive in Meadow Lakes. Investigation revealed sometime between 0930 and 1130 hours individual(s) cut locks on an enclosed tractor trailer parked on the property. A generator and diving gear worth approximately $3,800 were stolen from the trailer. Anyone with information regarding this incident are encouraged to contact the Alaska State Troopers or Matsu Crimestoppers at 745-3333. Investigation continues.

AK18082814Location: SitkaType: Fail to Salvage Edible Meat, Deer
On 11/18/18, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Sitka Post, responded to a report of un-salvaged deer dumped in a Sitka harbor system dumpster. Investigation revealed multiple deer carcasses were dumped with edible meat not salvaged for human consumption. In total, an estimated 100 pounds of un-salvaged meat was discovered.
