    Location: Togiak
    Type: Burglary II/Theft II/Criminal Mischief III

    Dispatch Text:

    On 11/24/18 approximately 0912 hrs., State Troopers in Dillingham received a report of Burglary, felony theft and felony criminal mischief which had occurred at a business in Togiak. Investigation revealed that sometime prior the night before or earlier that morning, a person or persons had broken into the store causing over $1,000 worth of damage, over $2,800 worth of cash and merchandise was missing, and that Jaron V. Wassillie, age 23, of Togiak had committed the crimes.  Charges were filed on Wassillie for Burglary II, Theft II and Criminal Mischief III.  To date, Wassillie remains at large and a warrant has been requested for his arrest.

    On 11/30/18 approximately 0829 hrs., State Troopers in Togiak received a report of burglary,  felony theft and felony criminal mischief which had occurred earlier that morning at the school. Investigation revealed that Jaron V. Wassillie, age 23, of Togiak had broken into the school causing over $750 worth of damage, and items totaling over several thousands of dollars, including MacBook Air laptops issued to students were missing.  Some of  the items were later recovered by Troopers executing a search warrant.  Wassillie was charged with Burglary II, Theft II, and Criminal Mischief III.  He remains at large and a warrant was requested for his arrest.

    On 12/01/18 approximately 0958 hrs.,  State Troopers in Togiak received a report of criminal mischief at a residence in Togiak.  Investigation revealed that Norman A. Blue, age 29, of Togiak, while intoxicated and in anger, had broken out the windows of a residence where he was staying, which belonged to an acquaintance who was present at the time.  Blue was arrested and transported to the Togiak Jail, where he was lodged on the charge of Criminal Mischief III-DV, with no bail until after arraignment.

    On December 1, 2018 at 1412 hours the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a violation of a protective order. The investigation led to the arrest of Brad Aga, a 48 year old male of Larsen Bay, for violating a protective order. Brad was transported to the Kodiak Jail where he was remanded.

    On 11/24/2018 at approximately 0047 hours, Soldotna Dispatch received a report of a broken down commercial box van at the Russian River Ferry parking lot and a suspicious male who was standing in the middle of the highway at mile 55 Sterling Hwy. Investigation revealed the driver who was identified as Randy McMullen age 25 from Anchorage was intoxicated while driving a commercial motor vehicle. McMullen was arrested and transported to Wildwood Pretrial.

    On 11/28/2018 at approximately 1455 hours, Soldotna Dispatch received a REDDI report on a white Volkswagen traveling south on the Sterling Hwy at approximately mile 87. The vehicle almost caused two head on collisions before it turned around and started to travel northbound from mile 91 Sterling Hwy. Soldotna Troopers pulled the vehicle over at mile 85.5 Sterling Hwy after almost witnessing another head-on collision. The driver was identified as Jennifer Worman age 35 from Sterling. Investigation revealed Jennifer Worman was under the influence of prescription drugs. Jennifer Worman was arrested for DUI.

    On 11/29/2018 at approximately 1527 hours, Soldotna Troopers responded to a report of a natural death in the Soldotna area. Investigation revealed Dorthey Bauer age 105 from Soldotna passed away from natural causes. Dorthey Bauer's son was present when his mother passed away.

    Type: Disturbance

    Dispatch Text:

    On 11/24/2018 at approximately 2021 hours, Soldotna Troopers responded to a report of disturbance in the Seward area. Investigation revealed there was a verbal altercation between two individuals who left the scene prior to Troopers arrival. Neither party was willing to cooperate with Soldotna troopers.

    On 11/30/2018 at approximately 1725 hours, Soldotna Troopers responded to a report of a verbal altercation between 16 year old male and his parents. Investigation revealed the juvenile placed a family member in fear of being assaulted. Charges are being forwarded to the Kenai Peninsula Youth Facility.

    On 11/1/2018 at approximately 1626 hours, Soldotna Troopers were at a residence in Kenai and came across a motorcycle that fit the description of a stolen motorcycle out of the Anchorage area. Investigation revealed Garrett Hansen age 25 from Seward was in possession of the stolen motorcycle. The motorcycle was recovered and charges are being forwarded to the Da’s Office for Theft 2nd.

    On 10/20/2018 at approximately 0840 hours, Soldotna Troopers received a report of stolen truck and trailer belonging to a local business. The total value of all the items stolen was $28,000. Investigation revealed Johnny Sisneros age 32 from Soldotna confessed to stealing the items. Sisneros is being charged with Theft 1st and Vehicle Theft
