AK19009863Location: KetchikanType: Theft III
ON 2-11-19 at approximately 1400 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in Ketchikan were notified of a theft. Investigation revealed that a black, Mi-T-M, 175,000BTU shop heater was stolen from an open and unsecure building located near mile 7 of the North Tongass Highway. The estimated value is $400.00. AK19009772Location: WasillaType: Theft 1st degree, Trespass 1st degree
On 02/11/2019 at approximately 0935 hours, Alaska State Trooper received a report of a stolen firearm from a vehicle at residence located N. Grey Wolf Dr. in Wasilla. Mark Walker, age 29 of Wasilla, reported his black and silver Kimber Eclipse 1911, .45 caliber handgun, was stolen from his vehicle sometime over the weekend. The firearm was valued at approximately $1400.00. Investigation is continuing.

AK19009726Location: WasillaType: Felony Elude, Assault III, Criminal Mischief III, Felony DUI-drugs, reckless Driving, and Trespass II
On 2/11/2019, approximately 0230 hours, Alaska State Troopers attempted to stop a black 1990 Chevrolet pick up truck near the intersection of Parks highway and Palmer Wasilla highway for moving violations. The impaired driver, 37 year old Tony L. Carr of Anchorage, failed to stop and lead Troopers and Wasilla Police on a brief pursuit with high speeds while driving in the wrong lanes of travel and running another driver off the road to avoid a head-on collision. The pursuit ended on Palmdale Drive where the driver fled and was shortly apprehended with the assistance of Wasilla Police and their K-9 Officer Echo. The driver was locating hiding inside an aircraft which did not belong to him. Total property damages are estimated at $10,000. Further investigation revealed Carr had been convicted of DUI two prior times in the preceding ten years. Carr was remanded to MSPT where he was held without bail.

AK19009734Location: FairbanksType: Mail Theft
Investigation lead to:
The driver, identified as Steven Phillips, age 33 of Fairbanks being charged with Theft II (x6), Theft IV, and Violating Conditions of Release.
The front passenger, identified as Troy Jennings, age 29 of Fairbanks being charged with Theft II (x2), Forgery II (x3), Theft III, Theft IV, and Violating Conditions of Release.
Additional charges for the rear passenger, as previously identified as Troy Towse, age 41 of Fairbanks being charged with Theft IV and Violating Conditions of Release.
Savannah Harding, age 22 of Juneau being charged with Forgery II, Theft II, and Theft III.
Breanna Dodge, age 41 of Fairbanks being charged with Forgery II, Theft II, and Violating Conditions of Release.
Daniel Heppeard, age 59 of Fairbanks being charged with Forgery II and Theft II.
All seized mail is being redistributed back to its rightful owners, and AST has been in contact with the Postal Inspector regarding this incident.
On February 11, 2019 at approximately 0356 hours, an Alaska State Trooper observed two individuals sprinting away from the row of mailboxes on the north side of Chena Hot Springs Road, in between Smallwood Trail and Jamal Drive. The two individuals got inside a white colored Pontiac Grand Am, which took off down Jamal Drive. AST conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was occupied by three males. Mail addressed to an address of Smallwood Trail was stuck to the vehicle's rear antenna and spoiler. Additionally, more mail addressed to addresses off Funk Road was observed on the floor in the rear of the vehicle. The rear passenger was identified as Troy Towse, age 41 of Fairbanks. Investigation lead to Troy's arrest. He was remanded to FCC for one count of MICS IV, one count of False Report, Probation Violation, and three Felony no bail warrants. The other two occupants were released on scene. The vehicle and all mail were seized. Theft charges for all three individuals are pending further investigation. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to call the Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks at 451-5100. Additionally, anyone who notices their mail has been stolen is encouraged to call the Postal Inspector at 1-877-876-2455.

AK19009752Location: FairbanksType: Warrant Arrest
On February 11, 2019 at approximately 07:51 a.m., the Alaska State Troopers contacted Jeremy Hunt, age 34 of North Pole, on a snow machine in North Pole. Hunt was subsequently arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant that was issued for Harassment. Hunt was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center and held on a $500 bail.

On 02/10/2019 at about 1958 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Tok responded to a residence for a report of an assault. Investigation revealed Bradley Howard, 38 YOA of Tok, assaulted a family member. Bradley was arrested for Assault in the Fourth Degree and housed in Tok pending outcome of arraignments.

AK19009845Location: FairbanksType: Stolen Vehicle
On February 11, 2019 At approximately 13:13 p.m. the Alaska State Troopers conducted an investigation for a suspicious vehicle at a residence in the Fairbanks Airport area. Investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen out of Anchorage. Gareth Lolnitz, age age 32, of Fairbanks was determined to be in possession of the vehicle. Lolnitz is a felon from a prior Vehicle Theft and was in possession of a concealable firearm. Lolnitz was arrested and remanded at the fairbanks Correctional Center for Vehicle Theft 1, Theft 2, and Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the Third Degree.

On 02/11/2019 at approximately 0018 hours, Troopers received reports of an assault in Kenai. Investigations revealed that Susan G. Williams (46), of Kenai, punched a significant other on the nose and then slapped them several times causing physical injury. Williams was arrested and remanded at Wildwood Pre-Trial for Assault 4th DV held with no bail pending arraignment.

AK19009933Location: NikiskiType: Death Investigation
On 2/11/19 at approximately 1647 hours, Soldotna base AST received a report of a 72 year old female, in Nikiski, who was unconscious and not breathing. Nikiski medics responded and pronounced the female deceased. Investigation revealed there were no signs of foul play.

On 02/10/2019 The Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Joseph Lee , 42 , of Homer for fishing without a valid 2019 license at Centennial Lake. This is a correctable violation but if not corrected has a $220 fine with the option of a court appearance.

On 2/04/2019 The Alaska Wildlife Trooper cited Ralph Curtis (59) of Yuma Arizona for false statement on a sport fishing license application. This violation is a $310 fine with an optional court appearance.
