AK19009317Location: KlawockType: No Insurance, VCOR x 3
On 2/8/2019, Prince of Wales State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 1994 Ford pickup for equipment violations. Investigation revealed the driver, 22 year old Kelsie Young of Craig to be operating the vehicle without liability insurance. Additionally the investigation revealed Young to be on conditions of release in three criminal cases, two of which are operating a vehicle without insurance. Young was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance and VCOR x 3.

AK19009285Location: PalmerType: Disorderly Conduct/ Criminal Trespass 2
On 02/08/2019 at 1400 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Mat-Su Regional Hospital for disturbance. Investigation revealed that, Majorie Labriola age 36, of Palmer was discharged and refusing to leave the hospital and causing a disturbance. Labriola was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespassing II. Labriola was transported and remanded at Mat-Su Pretrial where she will be released on her own recognizance.

AK19009134Location: WasillaType: DUI/Refusal to Submit a Chemical Test
On 2-7-2019 at 2245 hours, the Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a Ford pickup for a moving and equipment violation near the intersection Lucille Street and Mulchatna Drive. Investigation revealed Roman Pugach, age 32 of Wasilla, was Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol. Pugach was arrested and transported to Mat Su Pretrial where he was remanded for felony DUI.

AK19009094Location: QUINHAGAKType: DV Assault 2nd, 3rd, and 4th x 2
On 02/07/19 Bethel AST received a report that Quinhagak Tribal Police Officer (TPO) Derek Kusaiak, 25 yoa, had assaulted his girlfriend. Investigation revealed Derek had assaulted his girlfriend by strangling her and physically assaulting her. Derek was arrested and placed at the Quinhagak Police Department pending his arraignment on 2/8/19. Derek was charged with Assault in the 2nd degree, Assault in the 3rd degree, and two counts of Assault in the 4th with no bail. Alcohol was not a factor.

AK19009137Location: FairbanksType: VCOR/ Warrant Arrest
On February 07, 2019 at approximately 2355 hours, AST responded to a disturbance at an apartment on Sandvik St, in Fairbanks. Investigation revealed Leonard Chickalusion age 34 of Fairbanks was violating his conditions of release. Investigation further revealed Stearman Stearman age 22 of Fairbanks had a warrant for her arrest with an underlying charge of Assault 4, Disorderly Conduct, and Criminal Mischief 5. Chickalusion and Stearman were remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center. Chickalusion's bail was set at no bail. Stearman's bail was set at $1000.

AK19009148Location: FairbanksType: Warrant Arrest
On February 08, 2019 at approximately 0424 hours, AST in Fairbanks contacted John Bigjoe age 47 of North Pole at an apartment on Badger Rd, in North Pole. Investigation revealed Bigjoe had a warrant for his arrest with an underlying charge of VCOR. Bigjoe was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center on the warrant. Bigjoe's bail was set at $500.

AK19009338Location: TokType: VCOR
On 2-8-19 at approximately 1715 hours Alaska State Troopers contacted Scott McMahan Jr. (age 36 from Oregon) as the driver of a 1991 Lincoln Town Car during a traffic stop for an equipment violation near mile 1315 of the Alaska Highway. Subsequent investigation revealed that McMahan was violating his conditions of release from a prior case by operating the vehicle. McMahan was arrested for VCOR and transported to the Tok Trooper Post where he was held pending arraignment.

AK Wildlife Troopers
AK18042522Location: KetchikanType: Fail to mark shellfish gear and no escape panel on personal use pots.
On 01/31/19, Brandon E Morrison, 24 YOA of Ketchikan, was cited by Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Ketchikan Post, for operating a shrimp pot and Dungeness crab pot without his name on the buoys. Morrison was also cited for operating a shrimp pot and Dungeness crab pot without a biodegradable escape panel on the pots. Morrison was cited after Alaska Wildlife Troopers located his pots in the waters near Polk Inlet, without any markings on the buoys. Bail is set at $240 in the Ketchikan district court.

AK19009248Location: JuneauType: False Statement On License Application
On 2/8/19, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Juneau Post, contacted and issued Trevor Williams, age 28 of Petersburg, a $310.00 citation for making a false statement on a license application after an investigation revealed he had obtained a 2014 resident 5A low-income license when he had not been living in Alaska for 12 consecutive months as required. The citation was issued in the District Court at Juneau.

AK19009083Location: McGrathType: DUI/DWLRS
On 2-7-19 at 1631 hours, 43 y/o Einer Holmberg was arrested for DUI and Driving with a revoked license. The arrest and charges resulted after McGrath AWT received a "REDDI" report that Holmberg was highly intoxicated and operating a snow machine in downtown Mcgrath. AWT contacted Holmberg as he operated a Ski Doo Tundra snow machine on Chinana Avenue, where he was arrested for DUI/ Driving revoked. Holmberg remains in custody awaiting arraignment.

AK Bureau of Highway Patrol
AK19009367Location: Palmer, AKType: Motor Vehicle Crash - Injuries
On 02.08.19 at 2057 hours, Alaska State Troopers Bureau of Highway Patrol responded to motor vehicle crash with injuries involving two vehicles on E. Bogard Rd near N Burlwood Ln. in Palmer. The crash investigation determine the incident was a head-on collision. Jerome Jones was operating a four door passenger car traveling eastbound on E. Bogard Rd. Sherry Waddell was operating a sport utility vehicle traveling westbound on E. Bogard Rd. The road was icy and it was dark with no street lights. Jones’ vehicle lost traction on the icy pavement and crossed the center line. Waddell was unable to stop or avoid Jones’ vehicle. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
