    Dispatch Text:

    On 03/08/2018 at approximately 1814 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft from a residence on Hagion Shores Drive in Willow. A suspect was identified. The incident is still under investigation.

    Location: Talkeetna
    Type: Domestic Disturbance

    Dispatch Text:

    On 03/09/2018 at approximately 2023 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded via snowmachine to an off-grid residence on Moose Track Lane in Talkeetna for a Domestic Disturbance. Investigation revealed an altercation occurred between two family members. Charges will be referred to the Palmer District Attorney’s office for review.

    Type: Motor Vehicle Collision

    Dispatch Text:

    On 03/10/2018 at approximately 2047 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a single vehicle collision with a moose near mile 59 of the Parks Highway in the Willow area.  Rodney Trudell, age, 47 of Anchorage, was driving a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica on the Parks when he collided with the moose.  Trudell suffered minor injuries in the incident.  A local charity was contacted to salvage the animal.

    Type: Driving Under the Influence

    Dispatch Text:

    On 03/11/2018 at approximately 0028 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 1992 Chevrolet truck for a moving violation near mile 13 of the Talkeetna Spur in Talkeetna.  An investigation revealed the driver, Robert Spiller Bischoff, age 28 of Wasilla, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.  Bischoff was arrested for DUI, transported and remanded at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer.

    Type: Theft 4

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/10/18, at 2050 hours, AST responded to Mile 4 KGB for a report of a man removing donated items from a donation bin.  The suspect was contacted and identified as Rodney Bolinger, 36 yoa of Wasilla.  Bolinger was issued a citation for Theft 4 with a future court date and released.  The donated items were returned to the donation drop off location.

    On 3/10/18, at 2250 hours, AST responded to an address on Via Tranquilla Drive for a disturbance.  Investigation resulted in the arrest of Ricco G. Joseph, 38 yoa of Nondalton, for criminal mischief 5 DV.  Joseph was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on no bail pending arraignment.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 03/10/18 at 0400 hours, AST contacted Donald Oyagak, age 23 of Wasilla, in front of a residence on Bull Moose Drive in Wasilla for a disturbance and arrested him for disorderly conduct. Further investigation revealed Oyagak was intoxicated and violating conditions of release for a prior DUI arrest. Oyagak was transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer and remanded into custody where he was held on $250 bail.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 03/10/18 at 2150 hours, AST contacted Vincent Delia, age 32 of Wasilla, at a residence on Gunflint Trail in Wasilla for a disturbance. Investigation revealed Delia was intoxicated and violating conditions of release for 2 prior DUI arrests. Delia was arrested for VCOR and transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer and remanded into custody where he was held on $250 bail.

    On 03/09/18 at 2357 hours, AST responded to a burglary in progress at a business in the Meadow Lakes Center near mile 49 of the Parks Highway in Wasilla. Video surveillance footage revealed a male wearing a heavy jacket forcibly entered the business and stole a small amount of cash. AST is requesting anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime-stoppers at 745-3333 or AST dispatch at 352-5401. Investigation continues.

    On February 09, 2018, Alaska State Trooper dispatch received a report of theft and trespassed on WASILLA FISHHOOK Road  in Wasilla. The home owner reported sometime over the evening hours someone taking several items valued over $1250.  There was no video surveillance equipment at the incident location. totaling more than $1250.  Evidence at the scene is being analyzed and possible suspects are being identified.  The investigation is ongoing and the public is encouraged to contact Alaska State Troopers dispatch at 352-5401 or Crime Stoppers.

    On 03/10/18 at 0115 hours, AST was contacted at the mile 49 Parks Highway Holiday Service Station in Wasilla as a male had attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill. AST contacted the suspect on scene and investigation continues. AST is requesting anyone with information about the incident or other counterfeit bill incidents in the area to contact Crime-stoppers at 745-3333 or AST dispatch at 352-5401.

    On 03/11/18 at 0153 hours, AST performed a traffic stop on a black 1991 Honda sedan for speeding near mile 63 of the Parks Highway in Willow. Investigation revealed Jordan Jiron, age 21 of Wasilla, was driving under the influence of alcohol. Jiron was arrested for DUI and transported to the MSPT facility where he was remanded into custody and released O/R when sober.

    Type: Vehicle Theft X 2, Assault 3rd Degree, Reckless Driving, Felony Eluding, Leaving scene of crash, Theft 2nd

    Dispatch Text:

    On March 7, 2018 Alaska State Trooper dispatch received a request for welfare check on a vehicle with 2 individual inside located on MACHEN ROAD in Wasilla.  During the initial contact by Troopers, JAMES ARTHUR HAY 33 YOA of Wasilla fled on foot from the area.  James Hay stole a vehicle which began a 20 mile vehicle pursuit.  The pursuit was terminated due to deteriorating road conditions making it unsafe to continue.  Troopers saturated the area and was able to reengage James Hay.  He abandoned the 1st stolen vehicle and stole a 2nd  vehicle.  James Hay intentionally rammed a State Trooper Vehicle driven by an Alaska State Trooper.  This began a 2nd vehicle pursuit for another 10 miles.  The pursuit was again terminated due to deteriorating road conditions making it unsafe to continue.   James Hay was apprehended a short time later by Joint Task Force members and uniformed Alaska State Troopers without incident.  He was remanded at Matsu pretrial without bail for probation violations.  He has been charged with 5 felonies and 4 misdemeanors:

    Dispatch Text:

    On March 10, 2018 at 2246 hours, the Alaska State Troopers were notified of a disturbance in Kiana. The investigation revealed a female adult had caused damage to a family member's property. Charges of Criminal Mischief will be forwarded to the District Attorney's Office.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3-7-18 at 1200 hours the Alaska State Troopers arrested Marvin Okleasik, 60 of Teller, with an arrest warrant.  Okleasik was remanded to the Anvil Mountain Correctional Center with bail set at $50.  The original charges were criminal trespass 2 and three counts of violating conditions of release.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/11/18 at approximately 0345 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2017 Ford Truck for a moving violation on Airport Way in Fairbanks. Investigation revealed the driver, Craig Bowes age 47 of North Pole, was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Bowes was arrested for DUI and later refused to submit to a chemical test. Bowes was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center on the charges of DUI and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

    Type: Warrant, Vehicle Crash

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/11/18 at approximately 0420 hours AST attempted to contact John Orrison, age 38, of North Pole, at a residence off Dee Lane, North Pole.  Orrison had an outstanding Felony $10,000 arrest warrant for Escape 2.  During the contact, Orrison fled, crashing his vehicle into an AST vehicle then into a snowbank.  Orrison then fled into the woods.  At 0554 hours AST located Orrison on Badger Rd and placed him under arrest without incident.  Orrison was remanded to FCC under his outstanding warrant as well as multiple new charges.

    On March 10, 2018 Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of an intoxicated female walking on College Road. Troopers contacted Maura Murrill, age 33 of Fairbanks, who had been drinking. A routine check revealed Murrill was on conditions of release not to consume alcohol. Murrill was arrested for violating her conditions of release and remanded at the Fairbanks Correctional Center.
