    On 3/13/2019 at approximately 2205 hours, a theft was reported from a residence off Blarney Stone Drive in Big Lake. Approximately $1100 worth of tools were reported stolen from the residence. There are no suspects at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

    On 03/13/19 at approximately 1955 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residential burglary alarm off North Shore Drive. AST contacted Jason Greenwood, age 27, of Big Lake. Investigation determined Greenwood had forcefully entered a residence and had items in his possession identified by the victim as being taken. Greenwood was arrested and charged with Burglary 1st degree, Possession of burglary tools, Criminal Mischief 4th degree, Theft 3rd degree, Misconduct involving a controlled substance 3rd degree. Greenwood was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with no bail.

    Type: Motor Vehicle Collision- Injury

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/13/19 at approximately 2212 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision at Knik Goose Bay Rd and Old Knik Rd.  An investigation revealed Klancey Doyle, age 20 of Wasilla was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado when he attempted to cross Knik Goose Bay Rd. towards the Tesoro parking lot. Doyle collided with a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze, which was traveling on Knik Goose Bay Rd. driven by Donald Ryall, age 58 of Wasilla. Both drivers reported wearing their seatbelts. Alcohol was not a factor. A passenger in Ryall’s vehicle was transported to MSRMC for non-life-threatening injuries.

    On 3/14/19, at 0915 hrs, State Troopers in Hooper Bay arrested Adolph Rivers, 40 of Hooper Bay, for a no bail warrant.  He was remanded to Hooper Bay Public Safety pending transport to YKCC.

    On 3/13/19, at 1800 hours, Parks Hwy Troopers and the Nenana VPSO  contacted Charles Stevens age 43 of Nenana.  Stevens was court ordered to report to FCC by 1700 hours that day.  Stevens failed to remand himself by the time set by the court.  Stevens was arrested without incident and transported to FCC.  Stevens was remanded on one count of VCOR related to several open criminal complaints.  Bail was set at $50000.00 in this matter.

    On 03-14-19 at approximately 0451 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Howland Road in Fairbanks. Investigation revealed Joseph Cross, 31 YOA of Fairbanks, placed a family member in fear of imminent physical injury. Cross was arrested on one (1) count Assault 4th Degree/Domestic Violence A.S. 11.41.230(a)(3) and was remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center. Bail was set at No Bail.

    On 3/13/19, at 1325 hours, Nenana VPSO contacted Nichole Bird age 38 of Nenana,  The Fairbanks court issued an arrest warrant for FTA and bail was set at one thousand dollars.  Bird was arrested without incident and transported to FCC.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/13/19 at 2100 hours Anchor Point AST repsonded to a disturbance at a residence in the Nikolaevsk area. Further investigation revealed Zachariah Tangman (36 yoa) of Anchor Point set another resident of the home on fire, causing them physical injury. Tangman was arrested and charged with Assault in the Third Degree. He was transported to Homer Jail and is being held without bail.

     On 3-8-19 at 1137 hours, the Soldotna AST K-9 Team received a report from a small business located in Soldotna that a theft occurred. Investigation revealed that a theft of 140.00 in cash was taken. The investigation is ongoing.

     On 3-8-19 at 1359 hours, the Soldotna AST K-9 Team received a report from Douglas Norris (54) YOA of Soldotna reporting that his snow machine was stolen. The Snow Machine was stolen in Soldotna from the Hobby’s, Crafts and Games business and was described as a two tone black and red 1997 Yamaha 600 Twin, Mountain Max with a 136” track. Investigation is currently ongoing.

     On 3-9-2019 at 1547 hours, The Soldotna AST K-9 Team received a report of theft that occurred from a vehicle owned by Bobby Taylor, age 39 of Sterling. Taylor reported his vehicle was parked at Cabin Hoppers Parking Lot located near Mile 117 of the Sterling Highway. Investigation revealed Taylor had several personal items including sunglasses and a vehicle battery stolen from his vehicle. Investigation is currently ongoing.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/14/19 at 1942 hours Bruce Larson (59 yoa) of Anchor Point called 911 to report a woman threatened him with a knife and stated he had a shotgun iside his home so "someone's going to die tonight". Subsequent investigation revealed no emergency or assault took place, and that Larson was intoxicated. Larson also violated his court appointed conditions of release in a previous case (3HO-19-00070CR) by consuming alcohol. He was arrested and transported to Homer Jail without incident.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/14/19, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales Island cited Matthew Sapier, age 46 of Craig, for making a false statement on his 2018 resident hunting license application.  Sapier purchased an Alaska resident hunting license in October of 2018 claiming residency beginning in April of 2017.  Investigation revealed that Sapier did not meet the regulatory requirements for Alaska residency until January of 2019.

    On 3/14/19 Melany Israel, 60 YO of Wasilla, was issued a citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Anchor Point Post, for making a false statement on her 2018 sport fishing license. Bail is set at $310.00 in the Homer Court.
