AK17016259Location: PalmerType: Burglary, theft and warrant
On 3/11/17 at 1741 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence off Lee Ann Drive in Palmer for a report of a Burglary in Progress. Trooper made entry into the residence and made contact with Kevin Allen, age 20 of Palmer, Kyle Anderson, age 19 of Palmer and a 16 year old female juvenile. All three suspects were arrested for Burglary I, Theft II and Allen was additionally arrested for a $500.00 outstanding warrant. Both Allen and Anderson were transported to and remanded in MSPT with no bail till arraignments. The 16 year old female juvenile was transported to and remanded in Mat-Su Youth Facility with no bail till arraignments.

AK17017380Location: FairbanksType: Death Investigation
On March 16, 2017 at approximately 5:34 pm, Alaska State Troopers responded to the report of a deceased person. Investigation revealed that Robert C. Miller, age 74 of North Pole, was found deceased by a friend in his own home. Robert's death is believed to be from natural causes. No signs of foul play were found.

AK16087210Location: FairbanksType: Burglary, Theft, Tampering with Physical Evidence
On 03/14/17, Fairbanks patrol troopers, rural troopers, and troopers from the Special Projects Unit returned to a residence off McGrath Road to serve a search warrant. The warrant was issued to seize stolen property from a burglary that occurred 12/01/16, on the Old Nenana Highway. Items from additional burglaries and thefts were located and recovered. Dustin G. Harrison, age 33, of Fairbanks was arrested without incident and remanded to FCC on charges of Burglary 1, Theft 2, and Tampering With Physical Evidence. Additional charges are pending as the investigation is ongoing.

AK17016941Location: SoldotnaType: Assault 4/Criminal Mischief 5
On 3/14/17 at approximately 2047 hours, Soldotna based Alaska State Troopers responded to a disturbance and contacted Ellisa Liebes, 48, at a Soldotna residence. Investigation revealed Liebes had punched her boyfriend in the face. Through subsequent investigation Liebes was found to have broken multiple items inside the house and had put holes in the walls and doors. Liebes was arrested for Assault in the 4th degree Domestic Violence/Criminal Mischief in the 5th degree Domestic Violence. She was transported and remanded at Wildwood Pretrial with no bail.

AK17017190Location: KasilofType: Warrant Arrest/Misconduct involving a Controlled Substance 4th degree X2
On 3/16/17 at about 0245 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence off Squirrel St. in Kasilof. Upon arrival Troopers contacted Lanny Luke Perrill, 29 of Soldotna. Investigation revealed Perrill had two outstanding arrest warrants (both with original charges of Driving with a Revoked/Suspended license). Further investigation revealed Perrill was in possession of a small amount of Heroin and Methamphetamine. Perrill was arrested and remanded at Wildwood pretrial with a $1,500 bail.

AK17017288Location: NikolaevskType: Warrant Arrest
On 3/16/17 at 1230 hours, Anchor Point Troopers arrested Nikolai Yakunin, 41 of Nikolaevsk, at his residence on an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The warrant was based on an original charge of assault in the 3rd degree. Yakunin was transported and remanded into the Homer Jail where he was held without bail.

AK Wildlife Troopers
TBDLocation: Bristol BayType: Assault 4th Degree
On 10/12/ 2016, Don R. Iodice Jr., age 54, of Everett, Washington, pled guilty to Assault in the 4th degree In Naknek District Court. Iodice assaulted his co-worker and Captain of a tender vessel. Bristol Bay Wildlife Troopers investigated the incident after receiving the initial complaint on 7/3/2016 while the tender vessel was moored in the Egegik Commercial Fishing District. On 12/15 2016, Iodice failed to appear in court for sentencing and a $10,000 bench warrant was issued. On 3/15/ 2017, the Naknek District Court sentenced Iodice to 360 days in jail with 330 days suspended for a total of 30 days still to serve. The court also placed Iodice on probation for two years and ordered the defendant not to return to the fishing grounds in Bristol Bay.

On 3/16/17 at approximately 1500 hours, Alaska State Troopers arrested Daniel L. Nelson (25) of Anchorage on two outstanding Kodiak Police Department warrants for Failure to Appear. Nelson was arrested while in custody at the Anchorage Correctional Complex. Bail is set at $250.00 each.
