    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/6/2018 at approximately 1625 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a female who while walking on the Fairview Loop roadway was jumping out in front of oncoming traffic.  Investigation revealed Brandi Slover age 34 of Wasilla had previously received a disorderly conduct warning from a Wasilla Police Officer for the same actions.  Slover had continued to cause a hazardous condition by repeatedly jumping out in front of traffic at the time of Trooper contact.  Slover was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the Mat-Su Pre-Trial facility where she was remanded.

    Dispatch Text:

    On February 04, 2018, Alaska State Trooper dispatch received a report of theft and trespassed near BRIANNE LN.  in Wasilla. A worker reported he observed an individual attempted take fuel from a parked RV totaling less than $250.  Evidence at the scene is being analyzed and possible suspects are being identified.  The investigation is ongoing and the public is encouraged to contact Alaska State Troopers dispatch at 352-5401 or Crime Stoppers.

    Type: Criminal Mischief

    Dispatch Text:

    On 03/06/2018, at approximately 1100 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a call of a criminal mischief incident at a residence off of Fairview Loop in Wasilla.  Investigation revealed that sometime between 12/22/2017 and 01/17/2018, suspect(s) added a contaminant to a vehicle’s engine oil that caused the vehicle’s engine to seize, resulting in the engine having to be replaced.  Anyone having additional information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Alaska State Troopers or MATSU Crimestoppers at 745-3333.

    Location: Wasilla
    Type: MIW III, Warrant Arrest x2, & VID

    Dispatch Text:

    On 03/07/2018 at approximately 0350 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to Parks Hwy near Hyer Road for a report of a vehicle in the ditch with the occupants walking away from the vehicle. Troopers located the occupants of the vehicle at the G&G Shell station on Fireweed and identified them as Dylan McKibbon and Conor Carvalho, both age 20 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed McKibbon is a felon and was in possession of a concealable firearm. Further, both McKibbon and Carvalho had warrants for their arrest for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Probation on the original charges of Robbery II. Both were arrested and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility. McKibbon is held without bail and Carvalho was held on $2000 plus court approved third party.

    On 03/07/2018 at 1615 hours, Alaska State Troopers patrol unit along with the Palmer Criminal Suppression Unit contacted FAIZON MURRAY, age 19 of Anchorage,  at Matsu Regional Hospital and was arrested for an outstanding warrant on the original charge Attempted Murder 1, Assault 2, Assault 3, MIW 1 and MIW 2. Also contacted was NASIR DOWL, age 18 of Anchorage who had an warrant for his arrest for Theft 2. MURRAY was remanded into custody at Matsu Pretrial with bail set at $50,000 cash appearance while DOWL was remanded into custody with bail set at $250.

    On 3/7/2018 at approximately 1202 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a motor vehicle collision on the Glenn Highway at Archie Road. Investigation revealed that one of the drivers involved, Julian Escobedo 66 YOA of Anchorage, was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. Escobedo was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer where he was later released.

    On 3/6/2018, approximately 2240 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Big Lake Road near W Susitna Parkway in Big Lake for a reported burglary after the fact.  Investigation revealed that sometime between 1200 and 1700 hours, unknown person(s) gained forced entry into the structure and then fled with approximately $300 in personal items.  Anyone with any information regarding this ongoing investigations encouraged to contact  either the Alaska State Troopers 373-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 754-3333,

    Dispatch Text:

    On March 7th, 2018 at approximately 0200 hours, AST observed a Nissan Juke traveling through the intersection of University and Geist at a high rate of speed. AST followed the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. AST contacted the driver John Bjorgaard, 24 of Fairbanks. The investigation resulted in John's arrest for Driving Under the Influence. John was transported and remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident.

    On 3/7/18 at approximately 0015 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Lakeview Terrace in Fairbanks and contacted Dewayne Hailey, age 31 of Fairbanks. Investigation revealed Hailey had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on the original charge of DUI. Hailey was arrested and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center for remand where he was held on $500.00 bail.

    On 03-07-18 at 0030 hours, Alaska State Troopers contacted two vehicles on the South Cushman Dyke. Investigations led to the arrest of Sheylynn Jaid Attla, 27 of Fairbanks for a Probation Violation. James Robert Coley Jr, 29 of Fairbanks was issued two citations. Attla was then remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

    Dispatch Text:

    On March 7, 2018 at 1139 hours a representative from Global Rescue called AST to report a man had fallen through the ice northeast of Arctic Village. Alexander A. Lock (56 yoa of Australia) reported via SOS / satellite phone that he had fallen through the ice and was currently inside his tent unable to dry out and get warm.  Global Rescue also contacted North Slope Borough SAR and requested their assistance.  NSB SAR and confirmed they were sending a rescue crew in a helicopter. 

    At approximately 1630 hours AST received confirmation from North Slope Borough Search & Rescue that they responded and retrieved Lock from the field.  He is alive but the state of his health is unknown.

    On 3/6/2018 at approximately 1853 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a reported burglary at a residence off of Halbouty Road.  Investigation revealed that sometime in the past two weeks, unknown persons entered a home and stole a KW 4550 generator, a Husqvarna chain saw and assorted other tools and items.  AST investigation continues.

    Dispatch Text:

    On March 7th, 2018 at approximately 0405 hours, the Alaska State Troopers traffic stopped a red 2002 Pontiac Grand Am for moving violations near Bonita Avenue, Soldotna. Investigation revealed Richard G. Poage, age 41 of Soldotna, was in possession of a controlled substance. Further investigation revealed Poage was on conditions of release and was in violation of those conditions. Poage was arrested and remanded to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility where he was held without bail.
