    Dispatch Text:

    On 03/07/3019 at approximately 1105 hours the Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the area of Binnacle Dr. in Wasilla. Investigation revealed a 1992 blue Dodge Stealth was stolen while it was left running while the victim went back inside the residence.

    Type: Burglary 1st Degree, Theft 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree

    On 03/07/2019 at approximately 1710 hours the Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence in the area of Johnson Rd. in Wasilla for a report of a burglary.  Investigation revealed individuals forced their way into two residences and stole multiple firearms.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 03/07/19 at 2216 hours, AST performed a traffic stop on a gold 2010 Dodge SUV near mile 49 of the Parks Highway in Wasilla (Safety corridor) for speeding. Investigation revealed David Filoialii was driving while under the influence of alcohol. Filoialii was arrested for the original charge of DUI and transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer where he was remanded into custody and held on $500 bail.

    On 03/08/19 at 0209 hours, AST performed a traffic stop on a red 2014 Chevy Cruz on the Parks Highway near Hyer Road in Wasilla for speeding. Investigation revealed Karisa Widmer was driving while under the influence of alcohol. Widmer was arrested for the original charge of DUI and transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer where she was remanded into custody and released O/R when sober.

    On 3/7/2019, at approximately 1335 hours, the Alaska State Troopers, Child Abuse Investigation Unit, received a report that Dominick Agoney, age 20, had sexually abused a minor. Investigation revealed Dominick sexually abused a minor and on 3/8/19, at approximately 1515 hours, Dominick was arrested on one count of Sexual Abuse of a Minor III, and remanded at Mat-Su Pre-Trial with no bail pending arraignment.

    Type: Residential Fire

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/8/2019 the Alaska State Troopers were notified of a fully involved house fire at 1897 "L" Street #6 in Kodiak. Bayside and Kodiak Fire Departments were already on scene. Troopers responded and learned the owner of the house had gotten out safely. The trailer is a complete loss. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it appears to be non-criminal.

    Update: Nobel was taken into custody by SERT at approximately 2300 hours. No injuries reported.

    Original text: On 3/8/2019 at approximately 1540 hours, Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks received information regarding the location of Curtis Nobel, 36 of Fairbanks. Nobel has an active felony arrest warrant against him regarding Misconduct Involving a Weapon, Robbery I, and Conspiracy to Commit Murder. Troopers activated Northern SERT to Eielson Street in Fairbanks due to officer safety reasons. AST asks that people avoid the area while the situation is ongoing.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3/7/2019, Alaska State Troopers with the Parks Hwy Team conducted a traffic stop in Nenana at the Yurk Center near the Nenana School.  Investigation revealed, passenger CHARLES STEVENS, age 42 of Nenana, was in possession of crystal methamphetamine on property of a youth recreation center with youth present, while on conditions of release for two (2) criminal cases along with two (2) additional cases with previous violations of conditions of release.   STEVENS was arrested for MICS 2nd Degree and VCOR (x2) and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center and held without bail until arraignments.

    Type: Domestic Violence Criminal Mischief 3/ DUI

    On 3/8/19, at approximately 0041 hours, Alaska state troopers responded to a report of a disturbance at a Nikiski residence. During the course of the investigators, Joseph Newton, age 24, a Nikiski resident, was found to have broken a window of the residence and to have operated a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Newton was arrested on charges of Domestic Violence Criminal Mischief 3 and DUI before being remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility.

    Dispatch Text:

    On March 8, 2019 at approximately 0825 hours, the Alaska State Troopers (AST) received a report of a possible drug overdose. It was reported that Audrey Konopka, age 63, of Anchor Point over used prescription medication. Anchor Point EMS attempted CPR but was unsuccessful in resuscitating Audrey. Audrey was pronounced deceased at 0905 hours and NOK was notified. State Medical Examiner requested Audrey’s body for an autopsy and investigation is still on going.

    On 3/8/19 at approximately 0722 hours, Soldotna Base AST received a report of a disturbance at a residence in Nikiski. AST arrived on scene and investigation revealed Todd Bashaw, age 45 of Nikiski, assaulted a member of the household with a shovel. Bashaw is being charged with Assault in the Third Degree and Violating Conditions of Release.

    On 03/08/2019 at approximately 1719 hours, Soldotna Alaska State Troopers were dispatched to a reported burglary at an address in the neighborhood of Rabbit Run Road, in Soldotna. Further investigation revealed the front door to the residence was pried open and someone gained entry. AST cleared the residence, and no one was found inside the residence.

     On 3-8-19 at 1950 hours, the Soldotna AST K-9 Team arrived on Inlet Drive for an arrest warrant service on James Ashley Johnson Jr (35) YOA of Nikiski. Johnson Jr, has an outstanding no bail Warrant Arrest for the original charge of Assault 4th Domestic Violence and Harassment in the 1st Degree. Johnson was arrested and transported to Wildwood Pretrial where he was remanded without bail on the outstanding warrant and charges of MICS-4th after controlled substances were located on his person.

    Type: Commercial Fishing Violation

    Dispatch Text:

    On 3-6-19 Alaska Wildlife Troopers Seward with assistance from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game investigated a violation of the Prince William Sound commercial Tanner Crab fishery size limit. Investigation revealed that the F/V Highliner operated by Nikita Kuzmin, age 49 of Delta Junction retained 104 undersized Tanner Crab. Kuzmin was issued a mandatory appearance court citation. The undersized crab were seized and were donated to charity.
