    Type: Driving Under the Influence

    Dispatch Text:

    On 4-16-18 at approximately 1821 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a REDDI (Report Every Dangerous Driver) Report that Charles Ring age 33 of Ketchikan was operating a dark blue pickup while under the influence.  Investigation revealed Ring was operating under the influence.  King was arrested and transported the the Ketchikan Alaska State Trooper Post for Datamaster.  the Datamaster showed a BrAc of .145%.  Ring was remanded to the Ketchikan Correctional Center on the charge of Driving Under the Influence.

    Location: Houston
    Type: Warrant Arrest

    Dispatch Text:

    On 4/15/2018, approximately 2300 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a duress alarm at a residence located on Squire Drive in Houston.  Investigation revealed the alarm activation was accidental however Trooper contacted 36 year old Christopher Hardy of Houston.  Hardy had one outstanding warrant to serve three days for FTA for remand on the original charge of DUI.  Hardy was arrested at the scene without incident and remanded to MSPT to serve the three days.

    Type: DV Assault IV

    Dispatch Text:

    On 4/15/2018, approximately 1820 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on S. Warmwood Way in Palmer for a reported domestic disturbance.  Investigation revealed 34 year old Christopher M. Pifer assaulted a family member at the residence and no injuries were reported.  Pifer was arrested at the scene without incident and remanded to MSPT where he was held without bail.

    Type: Warrant Arrest

    Dispatch Text:

    On 04/16/2018 at approximately 2154 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a red Dodge Stratus for an equipment violation.  Investigation revealed the passenger, Elijah Rowley, age 20 of Wasilla had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear for trial call on the original charge of failure to carry liability insurance.  Rowley was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial where he was held on his $250 warrant.

    Type: Disorderly Conduct/Disturbance

    Dispatch Text:

    On 4/16/18, AST responded to an address in Houston for a reported disturbance.  At the residence, Troopers contacted and ultimately arrested 27 year old Triston DeLaney for Disorderly Conduct.  DeLaney was transported to Mat Su Pretrial where he was to be released OR once sober.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 04/15/2018 at 1135 hours, AST dispatch received a report of an active disturbance at a residence on Vicki Way in Wasilla.  Troopers responded and investigated.  Investigation reveals an adult male physically assaulted an adult female at the residence.  The assault is not DV related and charges are being forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 04/15/2018, at approximately 1848 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to two residences in the Butte area of Palmer for a report of a Domestic Violence Protection Order (DVPO)violation.  Investigation revealed that Rebecca Bourque, age 34 of Palmer, had knowingly violated the DVPO.  Bourque was placed under arrest and transported to the MATSU Pre-Trial Facility where she was remanded without bail.

    On 12/10/2017, AST dispatch received a report of a theft from E BEAK CI in Palmer.   Complainant/Victim stated someone had taken his registration papers for his F350 Ford Pickup Truck during the evening hours.  The video evidence at the scene is being analyzed and possible suspects are being identified.  The investigation is ongoing and the public is encouraged to contact Alaska State Troopers dispatch at 352-5401 or Crime Stoppers.     On 04/10/2018, AST dispatch received a report of a burglary at MEGANS CIR in Palmer.  Complainant/Victim is watching the residence for the owner.  The complaint reported a Black Nissan was seen at the incident location by a neighbor.  The video evidence at the scene is being analyzed and possible suspects are being identified.  The investigation is ongoing and the public is encouraged to contact Alaska State Troopers dispatch at 352-5401 or Crime Stoppers.     Type: REDDI, DUI, Refusal

    Dispatch Text:

    On 04/15/2018 at approximately 1258 hours, AST dispatch aired a locate for a report of  REDDI at mile 49 Parks Hwy where the vehicle had pulled over to pick up a hitchhiker.  The vehicle was described as a motorhome pulling a snow machine trailer bearing AK plate GPN740.  AST located the vehicle on the Parks Hwy southbound at Vine Rd and initiated a traffic stop.  The vehicle came to a stop in a parking lot of a local business.  Trooper approached the driver side and observed the driver had went to the back of the motorhome.  The passenger hitchhiker exited the motorhome and confirmed the driver was hiding in the back.  After approximately 45 minutes negotiating for the suspect to exit, he finally emerged and was placed into handcuffs.  The driver was identified as John Hoff, age 48 of Anchorage.  Hoff had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person.  Hoff refused SFST’s and refused to provide a sample of his breath for the datamaster.  Hoff was remanded to MSPT for DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test with a bail of $1000.00 cash.

    Dispatch Text:

    On April 16, 2018 at 1411 hours, the Village Police Officer in Ambler contacted the Alaska State Troopers and reported an assault in Ambler. AST responded and contacted Frank Cleveland. The investigation led to the arrest of Frank for Domestic Violence Assault in the Third Degree, Assault in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Fifth Degree, and Assault in the Fourth Degree on a Police Officer. Frank was transported to the Kotzebue Regional Jail where he was remanded without bail.

    On April 15, 2018 at approximately 10:30pm, Alaska State Troopers responded to a Fairbanks residence for a report of a disturbance.  Investigation revealed that Cory Wicken, 23 years old of Fairbanks, had violated his conditions of release in 4FA-17-02534CR.  Cory was arrested and remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on one count of VCOR.

    Location: Soldotna
    Type: Fail to Stop At Direction Of Peace Officer, Reckless Driving, Improper Use of Evidence of Registration, and Arrest Warrant Service

    Dispatch Text:

    On 4-09-2018, Soldotna AST responded to a report of suspicious vehicles in the area of Sports Lake Rd., in Soldotna. AST located a suspicious vehicle in the area and attempted to stop it to further investigate. However, the driver of the vehicle failed to stop and recklessly created an unjustifiable risk to himself and property by intentionally running his vehicle off the roadway. The driver fled on foot and AST was unable to make contact. Subsequent investigation and cooperative efforts from citizens across the Kenai Peninsula led to the arrest of Dagnall Leigh Moran-Tacey, 32, of Soldotna on 4-15-2018 on the charges of Fail to Stop At Direction Of Peace Officer, Reckless Driving, and Improper Use of Evidence of Registration. Moran-Tacey was transported to Wildwood Pretrial Facility where he was remanded on his charges along with five outstanding arrest warrants with a total bail amount of $100,000.00. Moran-Tacey was held without bail however due to new felony charges

    Type: RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLES

    Dispatch Text:

    On 4/15/18, at 1333 hours, Soldotna based Troopers assisted Kenai Police Dept. with a stolen vehicle investigation at 45641 Kenai Spur Highway in Nikiski. KPD located their suspect and stolen vehicle at the address. While on scene Troopers located a separate vehicle, identified as a black Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD registered out of Anchorage. Investigation revealed the Chevrolet Silverado was also stolen in reference to an APD case from September 2017. The vehicle was recovered and there are no suspects in regards to the APD case.

    Type: VEHICLE THEFT/WARRANT ARREST

    Dispatch Text:

    On 4/15/16, at 1630 hours, Soldotna based Troopers responded to the report of a stolen vehicle last seen in the area of Empress Avenue and Kenai Spur Highway in Nikiski. Troopers arrived and conducted a traffic stop on the stolen Toyota Tacoma, being driven by Dustin Tracy age 28 of Anchorage, and his passenger Donald Ruhl age 42 of Nikiski. Investigation revealed the vehicle had been stolen out of Anchorage on 4/14/18 and Tracy was taken into custody for Vehicle Theft in the 1st degree. Ruhl was taken into custody for a felony warrant for failure to appear for hearing. Both subjects were transported and remanded to Wildwood Pre-Trial Facility.
