    Type: Warrant Arrest

    Dispatch Text:

    On 5/11/18, at 1400 hours, Timothy Flood, age 26 of Juneau, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for 2 counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree and 1 count of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree.  Flood was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center on $25,000 bail.

    Type: Death Investigation - Natural

    Dispatch Text:

    On 5/11/18, at 0732 hours, AST received a report that Angoon EMS had received a report of a medical call at a residence in Angoon.  Investigation revealed that Klyn Kloxin, age 59 of Ketchikan, had died of natural causes and no foul play was suspected.  The State Medical Examiner's Office was contacted and his remains were released to the NOK.

    Type: Criminal Mischief, Probation Violation

    Dispatch Text:

    On 5/11/18 at approximately 1815 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Overlook Dr in Wasilla for a report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed Mose Falaniko age 21, of Wasilla damaged private property at the residence and violated his conditions of release. He was arrested, transported and remanded to MSPT where his bail was set at no bail.

    UPDATE: On 5/10/18, Seth Loggins was indicted by a Palmer Grand Jury on 1 additional count of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree, after another victim was interviewed during the continuing investigation. 

    UPDATE: On 4/27/18, Seth Loggins was indicted by a Palmer Grand Jury on 16 counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree, and one count of Assault in the Second Degree. Loggins is also charged with eight counts of harassment. These charges reflect eight victims. Investigation is continuing as AST believes there are more victims. Anyone with information regarding Loggins and this investigation is encouraged to contact Alaska State Troopers at the Palmer Post by calling 745-2131.

    Original Releasing: On 4/15/18, the B Detachment Child Abuse Investigation Unit began an investigation into the alleged abuse of an 11 year old child in Wasilla.  As a result of interviews and investigation, three other children between the ages of 8 and 11 were determined to have been abused by the same suspect on several different occasions.  The suspect was positively identified as Seth Loggins, 27 of Wasilla.  On 4/18/18, Loggins was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial facility where he is being held without bail for 11 counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree.  Investigation revealed that other juveniles may have been victimized by Loggins. Anyone with any information regarding children that Loggins had access to within approximately the past five years are encouraged to contact Troopers at 745-2131.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 05/10/2018 at approximately 1837 hours, AST received a report of a burglary at a public storage near Fattic Drive. Investigation revealed an unidentified male cut the fence to the property causing $200 dollars’ worth of damage to the fence and stole unknown amount of items, the victim is still compiling a list. The investigation is ongoing at this time pending further suspects and leads.  AST is requesting anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 745-3333 or AST at 352-5401.

    Type: Mail Theft

    Dispatch Text:

    On 5/10/18 at approximately 0619 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of damaged mailboxes at the intersection of Clydesdale Drive and Fairview Loop.  Investigation revealed the mailboxes had been opened and mail had been stolen.  Troopers received several other reports of damaged mail boxes and stolen mail in the Fairview Loop area.  If anyone has any information about the thefts, please contact the Alaska State Troopers at 907-352-5401.

    Type: Criminal Mischief

    Dispatch Text:

    On 5/10/18 at approximately 0824 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report from Knik Elementary School that a vehicle had driven through their soccer field, causing over $1,000 in damage.  Video footage showed a white Chevrolet pickup with a dark stripe down the side driving recklessly through the field at approximately 2330 hours the previous night.  The ground was soft and the truck tore up a large amount of grass.  If anyone has any information about the identity of the truck or the driver, please contact the Alaska State Troopers at 907-352-5401.

    On 5/10/18 at approximately 1604 hours, the Alaska State Troopers contacted 46 year old Fortune Franks at the Three Bears on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway.  Investigation revealed Fortune had a warrant for her arrest.  Troopers arrested Fortune and transported her to Mat-Su Pre-Trial where she was remanded.

    Location: Togiak
    Type: Assault IV-DV/Interfere With Report of a DV

    Dispatch Text:

    On 05/11/18 approximately 0631 hrs., State Troopers in Togiak responded to the report of a disturbance at a residence in Togiak.  Investigation revealed that Merlin Arkanakyak, age 42, of Togiak had assaulted a family member, and destroyed a phone, interfering with the report of the crime.  Arkanakyak was arrested  on the charges of Assault IV - DV, and Interfere with the Report of a Domestic Violence Crime. He was transported to the Togiak Jail where he was held pending arraignment.  Alcohol was a factor in the incident.

    On 05/11/18 approximately 0930 hrs., State Troopers and the VPSO in Togiak responded to a report of an assault at a  residence in Togiak.  Investigation revealed that Warren Antone, age 39, of Togiak had assaulted a family member, and caused serious physical injury requiring medical treatment.  Antone was arrested and transported to the Togiak Jail where he was lodged on the charges of Assault III - DV and Assault IV -DV, with no bail until after arraignment.  Alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the incident.

    On May 10, 2018 at 1851 hours the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an assault in Shungnak. On May 11, 2018 AST responded to the village of Shungnak and arrested Darvin Douglas, a 26 year old male of Shungnak, for violating conditions of release and unlawful contact stemming from a previous Domestic Violence arrest. Darvin was transported to the Kotzebue Regional Jail where pending arraignment. Alcohol was involved.

    On May 11, 2018 at approximately 1600 hours the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an intoxicated male causing multiple disturbances in Shungnak. AST responded to the village and arrested Douglas Brown, a 23 year old male of Shungnak, for Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree. Douglas was transported to the Kotzebue Regional Jail pending arraignment. Alcohol was involved.

    On May 11, 2018 at 0703 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received multiple calls about an unknown male individual walking into homes near the Alyeska Drive and Sun Valley Drive intersection in Fairbanks, AK. AST, UAF PD, and FPD all responded to the area, and eventually contacted the individual; identified as Thomas Oates, age 30 of Fairbanks. Thomas was ultimately placed under arrest and transported to FCC where he was remanded on several charges of Criminal Trespass in the First Degree and Violating his Conditions of Release. He was held on no bail.

    On 5/11/18 at approximately 1131 hours, Soldotna State Troopers responded to a residence in Soldotna for a natural death. Investigation revealed Claude Gear age 79 from Soldotna died from natural causes. Next of kin was notified. No foul play is suspected.

    Type: Fail to Report Registration Hunt

    Dispatch Text:

    On 4-5-2018, Alaska Wildlife Troopers received a report from ADF&G that James Huffman, 47 YOA of Eagle River, had failed to report within the required timeframe after several reminders on his RM836 moose registration hunt. On 5-7-2018, Huffman was contacted and served a citation for Fail to Submit Registration Hunt Report. This is a violation with a set fine of $110 out of the Anchorage District Court.

    Type: Warrant Arrest

    Dispatch Text:

    On 5/11/2018 at approximately 1530 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers conducted a traffic stop at Parks Highway and Twitty Avenue on a white 1995 Suzuki Sidekick for moving violations. The driver, 43 YOA Jonathan Golden of Anchorage, was found to have an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. Golden was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded on a $50 bail.
