    Location: Hydaburg
    Type: Warrant Arrest

    Dispatch Text:

    On August 9, 2017 at about 11:52 AM, troopers based out of Prince of Wales attempted to contact 37 year old Joey Adams in Hydaburg in reference to an active warrant for his arrest.  When Adams saw the troopers, he fled into the woods.  Adams was located a short time later, arrested and transported to Craig Police Department where he was remanded.

    On August 10, 2017 at about 12:30 PM, Prince of Wales based troopers arrested 55 year old Klawock resident Wes Minch on an outstanding $1500.00 warrant in Craig.  Minch was transported to Craig Police Department where he was remanded.

    Type: Vehicle Theft I

    On August 10, 2017 at about 1027 hours, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a stolen vehicle in the area of Hobbit Road.  Minutes later, the Alaska State Troopers located the vehicle in the area of Willow Drive.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and one of the occupants was identified as Wende Schroeder, 44 of Wasilla.  Investigation revealed Schroeder took the vehicle after a witness positively identified her as the person who took the vehicle.  Schroeder was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pre-trial without incident.

    On 08/10/2017, at approximately 0128 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a suspicious vehicle on Vance Dr. in Wasilla. Investigation revealed that Alexis Resendiz, age 22, of Anchorage, was operating the vehicle while impaired. Resendiz was arrested at the scene for Operating Under the Influence and transported to Mat Su Pretrial where he was release under his own recognizance.

    Location: Koliganek
    Type: Assault IV

    Dispatch Text:

    On 08/10/17 at about 0025 hours, AST was notified by the Koliganek Village Public Safety Officer of an assault in the village.  Investigation revealed 25 year old Sean Nelson assaulted a family member causing physical injury.  Further investigation revealed Nelson is on felony parole stemming from a conviction of Sexual Assault of a Minor in the Third Degree and Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.   The VPSO was unable to take Nelson into custody during the initial investigation.   Troopers from Dillingham responded in the morning to aid in search for Nelson.  The search was met with negative results.   An arrest warrant for Nelson has been issued by the Dillingham Court.  Anyone with information on Nelson's whereabouts is urged to contact the Alaska State Troopers in Dillingham at (907) 842-5641.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 08/10/17 at about 1227 hours, AST was notified of a disturbance in New Stuyahok.  Investigation by the New Stuyahok Village Police Department led to the arrest of 20 year old Charles Kvasnikoff after it was discovered that he damaged property of two separate family members during a argument.  Value for the items is estimated to be between $250 and $500.  Kvasnikoff was arrested and remanded to  the local jail pending arraignment.

    Type: Gun Shot Wound

    Dispatch Text:

    On 8-8-17, at 2004 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence in Two Rivers Alaska on a report of a juvenile that had a gunshot wound.  The juvenile was transported to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries.  Investigation continues.

    On August 9, 2017 at approximately 2326 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report that Donald Kellogg, age 48 of Fairbanks, had kicked in Michelle Rowland's door. She is the daughter of his girlfriend of 16 years, and had temporarily lived with her. The investigation revealed Donald had committed the crimes of criminal mischief and criminal trespass. He was arrested and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center without incident.

    On August 5, 2017 at approximately 1:15 pm, the Alaska State Troopers received the report of a Craftsman Garden Tractor with a 54" mower deck and 26 HP motor having been stolen from a residence near Farmer's Loop Road in Fairbanks.     Dispatch Text:

    On 8-6-17 at 2234 hours, AST conducted a traffic stop on a red 2000 Volvo sedan near Mile 140 of the Sterling Highway after observing a moving violation. During the contact investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle identified as Eric L. Ayers, 36 YOA of Anchorage was driving under the influence. Ayers was arrested, processed and transported to Homer Pretrial where he was remanded on charges of DUI.

    Dispatch Text:

    On 8-10-17 at 0217 hours, AST responded to mile 71 of the Seward Highway to a report of a single vehicle motor vehicle crash. The driver was contacted and identified as Nathaniel J. Green, 46 YOA of Anchorage. Investigation revealed he lost control of his black 2011 Jeep Wrangler crashing it into the wood line. During the contact investigation revealed Green was driving under the influence. Green was arrested, processed and transported to Anchorage Pretrial where he was remanded on charges of DUI.

    Type: Over Limit of Non-Pelagic Rockfish

    On 8/9/2017, Alaska Wildlife Troopers at Juneau Post contacted Raymond Watkins, age 65 of Juneau. Investigation revealed Watkins retained an over limit of non-pelagic rockfish.  Watkins was cited into the District Court at Juneau with a bail amount of $130.
