AK17056020Location: KetchikanType: Warrant Arrest
On 8/11/17 at approximately 0900 hours AST contacted Carol Wardle, 65 yoa, from Kalispell, Montana for an extraditable warrant for Assault with a weapon. Wardle was taken into custody without incident and lodged at Ketchikan Correction Center on one count of Fugitive From Justice.

AK17055978Location: Big LakeType: DUI Alcohol, Refusal
On 8/11/17 at approximately 0046 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a vehicle stopped in the roadway on S Johnsons Rd near the Parks Hwy. Troopers located the vehicle, a silver Chrysler 300 and contacted the driver, Merlyn Shandley age 22 of Willow, passed out behind the wheel. Investigation revealed Shandley was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol. Shandley was arrested for DUI Alcohol and later refused to submit to chemical testing. Shandley was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was remanded into custody to be released on his own recognizance once sober.

AK17056093Location: PalmerType: DUI/Warrant arrest
On 08/11/17 at approximately 1221 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the area of mile 13 of the Old Glenn Highway in Palmer for a report of a female passed out behind the steering wheel of a vehicle. Troopers contacted 35 year old Anchorage resident Maggie Rhodes. Investigation revealed Rhodes was driving under the influence and had three outstanding warrants. Rhodes was arrested for operating the vehicle while under the influence and the three outstanding warrants. Rhodes was transported to MSPT and remanded on the DUI with bail set at $500 cash, $300 Cash Corporate for the Palmer warrant and $1000 cash and $500 cash on each of her Anchorage warrants.

AK17056114Location: Tok, AlaskaType: Criminal Trespass 2, VCOR
On 8/11/17 at 1310 hours, Tok AST contacted 45 year old Tetlin resident James Joe after having observed him loitering around the local Three Bears grocery store. Joe was issued a misdemeanor citation for criminal trespass 2 and issued a citation for violating conditions of release from an older charge of criminal trespass 2. Joe is trespassed from all Three Bears property. After having been issued his paperwork, Joe left the area.

On August 10, 2017 at approximately 11:00 p.m. Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks received a call of a possible assault near Goldstream Road. Further investigation revealed that Christina Cabrera, 33 yoa, committed the crime of Criminal Mischief in the Fifth Degree DV. Christina was arrested and transported to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

On 8/10/17 at 2111 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a 911 call that was left open. Information was obtained from the open 911 line, a REDDI report, and an on scene investigation by troopers. Adam Rexford, 33 years old of Fairbanks, was arrested for the crimes of DUI and Assault IV domestic violence. Rexford was transported to the Fairbanks Correctional Center where he was held without bail.

AK17056200Location: SoldotnaType: Vehicle Theft I, Criminal Trespass I
On August 11th, 2017 at approximately 1705 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence near Whitlock Street, Soldotna for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. Investigation revealed Jared J.E. Herrmann, age 21 of Kenai, remained on land with the intent to commit a crime and stole a motor vehicle. The vehicle and Herrmann were located. Herrmann was arrested for Vehicle Theft I and Criminal Trespass I. Herrmann was transported to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility where he was held without bail.

AK17053618Location: Glacier ViewType: Tampering with Evidence, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Wanton Waste, Take of a Sub Legal Sheep, Unlawful Possession of Game, Horns Before Meat
On 8/3/2017, at approximately 1615 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers were dispatched to Pinochle Lane on the Glenn Highway for a report of 3 males poaching a sheep, cutting the head off, and burying the body on a mountain. During the course of the investigation, it was determined T. F. (17 YOA) had committed the crime of taking of a Sub Legal Sheep. The investigation also determined that Robert Foster, age 40 of Wasilla, committed Tampering with Evidence, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Wanton Waste, Take of a Sub Legal Sheep, Unlawful Possession of Game, and Removing the Horns before Salvaging all of the meat. T.F. was given a misdemeanor summons to appear in court at a later date for taking a Sub Legal Sheep. Robert Foster was issued summons for Tampering with Evidence, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Wanton Waste, Take Sub Legal Sheep, Unlawful possession of game, and for removing the horns before they salvaged the meat. Bail to be set by Glennallen District Court.
