Type: False Statement on Low Income License Application

On 7-6-18, the Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Paul Wiley and Cristina Gutierez, ages 38 and 36, both of Anchorage, at the Eklutna Tailrace. Investigation revealed they did not qualify for the low income fishing licenses they were using. Their invalid licenses were seized and both were issued citations for false statement on low income sport license application. They were issued verbal warnings for fishing with invalid licenses and for fishing for king salmon with king salmon stamps. Bail was set at $310 each in Palmer District Court.
