Dispatch Text:On December 3, 2018, at 1712 hours, AST received a report of a burglary that had occurred at a residence off Oakwood Drive in Palmer. State Troopers responded to the scene and investigation revealed 4 individuals had broken a glass door and entered the unoccupied home. Items stolen included numerous firearms, cash, smaller household items and a bottle of alcohol. Through investigative efforts, AST was able to identify a suspect and a likely location where he was located. At just after midnight on 12/4/18, AST with assistance from Wasilla Police made contact with the primary suspect at a residence in Wasilla. The suspect was identified as Nathaniel J. Hale, 18 yoa of Wasilla. Also contacted at the residence were accomplices Austin M. Terry, 18 yoa of Wasilla, and a 17 year old juvenile male. All three males eventually admitted their involvement in burglarizing the residence with another 17 year old male and to stealing the items. Troopers located all but two of the stolen firearms along with the alcohol stolen from the home and returned the items to the victims. Nathaniel Hale was also found to be in possession of an unrelated handgun that had the serial numbers destroyed. Nathaniel Hale was arrested on felony charges of Burglary 1, Theft 2, Misconduct Weapons 3 and Criminal Mischief 3 and was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on no bail pending arraignment. Austin Terry was arrested for Burglary 1, Theft 2 and Criminal Mischief 3 and remanded on no bail. The 17 year old found with Hale and Terry was arrested for Burglary 1, Theft 2 and Criminal Mischief 3 and remanded to the custody of DJJ pending a hearing. The fourth male was contacted elsewhere at 0530 hours and charges of Burglary 1, Theft 2 and Criminal Mischief 3 will be forwarded to DJJ.
