2025 Use of Force Report

The Alaska Department of Public Safety (DPS) tracks and analyzes the use of force of all officers employed by DPS and proactively publishes an annual Use of Force 5-Year Report for all use of force incidents involving the Alaska State Troopers, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Court Services Officers, Village Public Safety Officers, and Deputy Fire Marshals. This report includes data from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2025.

Quarterly Missing Indigenous Persons Report – 2025 Q2

This report summarizes missing persons cases involving Alaska Native, American Indian, and individuals of unknown race from April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, based on data from DPS and partner law enforcement agencies.

Monthly Drug Seizures – June 2025

This monthly report provides a preliminary overview of statewide drug and alcohol seizures investigated by the Alaska State Troopers Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit during June 2025, including year-to-date trends and comparisons to prior reporting periods. The data is intended to provide a snapshot of enforcement activity and emerging seizure trends across Alaska.

Annual Fire Report – 2024

The Fire in Alaska Report provides an annual statewide summary of fire incidents, emergency response activity, fire losses, injuries, fatalities, and fire prevention trends across Alaska during 2024. The report uses data submitted by Alaska fire departments and emergency response agencies to help identify emerging risks, support public safety initiatives, and improve fire prevention, education, and response efforts statewide.
