Services*Training*Officers*Prosecutors (STOP) Grant Overview

The Alaska Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, (CDVSA) receives the Services*Training*Officers*Prosecutors (STOP) population-based formula grant from the US Department of Justice, Office of Violence Against Women (OVW). STOP’s purpose is training for courts, law enforcement, and prosecutors and for strengthening victim services for domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and dating violence issues. Alaska has submitted their FFY2017 STOP grant application, including our final Four-year Alaska STOP Implementation Plan. The CDVSA Council, staff and partners thank you for your input, comments and suggestions to make our four-year implementation plan a document that presents a strong approach to move our state forward in our vision of Alaska free from domestic violence and sexual assault.
